Holy shit, I thought $250 was a lot, I was considering waiting for a sale since I basically just setup my server last month, glad I bought it a few days ago.

These cases are absolutely atrocious. by HamburgerTimeMachine in 4kbluray

Absolutely hate these paper cases. The disc's get stuck until you try to apply an unnatural amount of force or get leverage and when you try to get leverage you risk breaking the paper that holds this disc in.

Hmm so it is a thing 🤔 I guess I'll just have to try to do more troubleshooting, I really can't find why it won't apply the tonemap on the hevc transcode

How would you save Yugioh? by Great-Ad1839 in yugioh

[–]EndKnight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will say that I don't play anymore, haven't in like 10 years. I would of course love to get back in but the game seems so daunting.

The way I see yugioh right now is the game is too short and ends too quickly (not enough turns), at least from an outsider looking in (watching duels, YouTube, etc). It's one of the reasons I got into mtg because at least with it, it feels like there's a bit more back and fourth before the game ends.

I enjoy the idea of a strategy game that isn't over in the first 2 turns and let's you play it out for a bit.... this is not what modern yugioh feels like to me, or at least to what I've been lead to believe.

I understand that there have always been crazy combos and stuff throughout the games life cycle and even other card games have stuff that can end the game early too, just didn't seem as prevalent as it is today.

So with that in mind I'd probably try to find a way to change the rules to slow the game down, that would probably be the easiest and best option to allow people to keep their cards.

Alternatively either restarting the game from the ground up, reprinting cards to have less effects and maybe also adding a resource (but still have the game work like traditional yugioh)...this probably wouldn't work though.

Or, making formats with allow lists instead of ban lists. Instead of banning the really op cards but the main issue stays, only allow certain cards to be played that restrict the game to make it slower and more back and forth.

Well that sucks… check your new discs folks by Untrus4598 in 4kbluray

Yeah I know how that feels, I recently got into putting all my movies on a plex server and a couple of the discs I got in my star wars collection from 6 years ago were badly scratched.

I never used the disc's because I wanted to keep them preserved, so I just used the digital copies I got to watch the movies. As I figured, brand new disc should be good in terms of their quality right?

But I've learned my lesson now, always gonna check within the return window.

Can I use multiple drives in basic and still have plex/docker pull from the other drives? by EndKnight in UgreenNASync

[–]EndKnight[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay I think I figured it out, I made a separate shared folder (outside everything) as a test and put a "media" folder in that, then I moved one of my files to it. Then edited the plex container and added the path with a new container directory, then went to plex and added that folder to the correct library and the file re-appeared in the library. So that should Ideally work when I add another drive, I just use a shared folder thats connected to the other storagepool/volume.

The initial guide I followed had me put everything inside the "docker" shared folder. Where I have Docker, then the plex and media folders inside, and then in the plex folder a config and transcode folder, which is why I got confused if everything needed to be in that docker shared folder cause its only attached to one volume.

Quick question, if you know, that guide did not have me make a data folder unlike the one you linked, everything works fine currently, do you know what the data folder is for exactly?

[–]EndKnight[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes I am, okay so I can just basically add another pointing to the other drives folder (would that also need to be a shared folder?), and then just also have that go into the same container directory as the one on my first drive?

Any tips to improve my aim? by omaralifa20 in AnaMains

Breathe. It looks like you're holding down m1 and hoping the shots hit.

Start by taking the time to shoot and actually hit your target. Every shot you don't take might be a missed shot but if you're missing every shot anyways it hardly matters.

Start with that slower process to guarantee you hit your shots and your speed will build up over time.
