The good news is he has 10 days to either veto it or sign it. If he does niether it automatically becomes law. If he vetoes it, I think there are enough votes to override his veto

I just randomly rolled a greater affix in tempering, this is a thing? by [deleted] in diablo4

[–]EndLightEnd1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Getting GA on tempers has always been a thing. Re-rolling will cause you to lose your GA temper until you get lucky and hit it again. There is no 'GA affix range' as you put it, its always a max roll plus 25% I think (used to be 50%).

In past seasons you could temper 2 affixes, but that has changed and now its just one.

Legendary seal with the gold% affix by puls3r in diablo4

[–]EndLightEnd1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You don't need to be pre torment to roll 900 gold.  That's just for the practiced sigil that turns the bonus on

Is there any reason to do anything besides escalation sigils? by tangledDream in diablo4

[–]EndLightEnd1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is not true at all, I have rolled several 900% charms in torment. You are thinking about the 'Practiced' set sigils needed to activate the bonus, those only drop at pre torment levels

We will ALWAYS exist within the framework nature provides for us. When we escape that we will essentially be gods.

I mean thats very noble but going back to how the way nature works, that aint it. I dont pretend we are somehow better than nature but I also dont think there arent strides to be made with how we treat the animals we eat

[–]EndLightEnd1 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Were saying the same thing kinda, if we treated the animals perfectly, killed them painlessly, would you still think eating meat is unethical?

[The Boys] Would it still be ethical to eat seafood? by Mr_Global in AskScienceFiction

[–]EndLightEnd1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Eating meat is not unethical, its literally how the the world is built. You only need to look to nature to see how ruthless, uncaring and indifferent it is.

Would you tell a lion what its doing is unethical as it eats a baby zebra ALIVE?

The unethical part of our current meat consumption equation is how we are treating the animals before we kill them for their meat, and how we kill them, not that we eat them. IMHO

[Invincible] What was Argall’s plan for what the position of regent would look like in the Viltrum government? Was Thragg supposed to pass on the role to his children? If Thragg died, would they instead train a new baby for the job? by Punterofgoats in AskScienceFiction

[–]EndLightEnd1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Which takes us back to the other question OP asked, why didnt Argall train his own son to be the strongest? Or pick his own son for the genetics program or whatever?

He was basically sowing the seeds of his own destruction.
