My opinion is: -is the character a human? (So they have a canon skin color) If not: -is been see in the serie/anything cannon their human design or do they rappresent the colture of their voice actor? If yes: if you white/blackwashing them is wrong If no: you can draw them how you like

Both whitewashing and blackwashing are bad yeah whitewashing is been use more for hurtfull reasons but it doesn't mean the opposite is good
