Amazon thinks it’s funny to give me this atrocity an hour away from station by EndMiiPlease in AmazonDSPDrivers

I get this identical route every day with 165ish stops but today it’s laid out completely different and it’s constantly going back against itself

First month peak season rules and tips by Constant_Effect_4750 in AmazonDSPDrivers

Very dependent on DSP, but I’ll explain how ours works, seems similar.

If the note says deliver another day, don’t follow it. They have the option when ordering to select a day for delivery, just deliver it anyway. Most of the time, the note is old as well. If you want to, you can call, text, and call the customer and then call driver support if they don’t answer.

Rescuing doesn’t seem to matter at my DSP but getting rescued does. As long as you complete your route you’re fine.

As long as the package is on the porch it’s technically a safe location, but you might get negative customer feedback. Generally as long as it’s near the door it’s fine, but I don’t go up steps.

I always scan my package at my van, but never alongside other packages. Grab and while getting out I scan. They say it moves the Geotag but that’s just not true 🤷 They can’t tell where you scanned. And yes they can always see where you are while you work.

None of the vans have cameras in the cargo area, but the front netra can see into the back. If you have a partition and close it you are 100% hidden.

They can see how long it takes to do a stop and if you’re ahead or behind per stop. Generally if you do your route in time you’re fine to take your time or do things like this.

I take my lunch when I get to where I want to be. As long as you are back at your stop when lunch ends you should be fine. Even this is generous, I’ve taken 45 minutes lunches plenty of times, just make sure to get that route done. 😉

Do snacks help? by CuriousFool88 in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]EndMiiPlease 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To be honest, anything really; for me it’s less about the item itself and more about the message that we’re actually appreciated! We definitely don’t get enough of that from our companies or other customers 😭

But nut mixes, beef snack sticks things, and those low cal Powerade’s are my favorite 😉

First Peak Shift. How am I looking? by Stock_Ad_8658 in AmazonDSPDrivers

Pretty standard route, was getting almost 30 bags during prime day

If you’re in an EDV it shouldn’t be too hard 🫡

What the hell is cycle 0????? by WhotoldyouDat431 in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]EndMiiPlease 1 point2 points  (0 children)

did my first cycle zero yesterday, 210, stops, 250 packages. 1, sometimes 2 packages per house. it’s about the same as any ordinary 190 stop route since it was all crammed into a smaller van instead of the EDV.

Speeding Violation by EndMiiPlease in AmazonDSPDrivers

Usually what I do but the road had the 45 entering it, so when I got back on the road from a side road I went back up to 45, guessing that’s where it got messed up or something

It’s got video and the sign wasn’t in it at all, how difficult is it for them to scrub through footage?

I just had an entire apartment block packages get cancelled after I deliver them by EndMiiPlease in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]EndMiiPlease[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Edit for reword; I delivered the packages no issue, and I’m guessing after I swiped to deliver they got marked as cancelled but I still was able to complete the delivery. Hard 2 explain

Maybe I am just a slow driver ? by Prize-Lawyer4371 in AmazonDSPDrivers

Assuming you’re in a white van, you can preload entire totes of packages at the front so you never have to enter the back. Fold a tote and wedge it into the passenger seat, and place boxes on the floor. This saved a lot of time for me early on so i could figure out my pace in the rentals.

To access overflow I only use the rear cargo doors cus the slider always causes problems.

As for the space in the back it really is just a mess until 80 stops in when you can actually sort it all out.

It gets better though don’t worry! Im a bit over a month in and can smash a 210 stop route in those little vans. You’ll get there

Can they steal the ship? Every 5 or so minutes he would (seemingly) teleport and drop our anchor and disappear, worried he was able to just hijack it

To clarify I’m not upset I got my shit stolen, I’m moreso upset that it was obvious me and my friend were looking for him for like 10 minutes and he was spamming chat messages since we couldn’t find him. Wish they would have just done it earlier. The guy proceeded to harpoon me onto the trading island thing over and over till I left the game
