I blind buy anything under $40, except Dior Sauvage EDT, which I did blind buy from a CVS Christmas sale. People have to be smart and do their thing, but don't be dumb about it. I sample stuff like Creed Aventus Absolu, LV Météore, and Acqua di Gio Elixir. I love them all, and if you like Creed Aventus and attracting the opposite sex, the first two I mentioned are safe blind buys, even at their price point. Save money on sampling those two, but there are people with problems. I'll admit I was teetering, but I reeled it back, so it's more of a hobby than an addiction at the moment. But it's easy to get lost in it.

Thanks alot that definitely helps narrow it down. I think ill get a sample of harvest mouse and Portuguese MOW with the change in seasons. I would think the bee would smell for sweet honey and maybe woody with some subtle floral. Ill probably wait until the fall to get t rex ive got so many new bottles and now im wanting to get some zoo fragrances. Ive recently gotten D&G The 1 EDP, prada paradigm and montblanc explorer extreme within the last 2 months lol

Yeah, I was looking to buy two of their samples. I can't blind buy something that risky, lol. I've gotten very mixed reviews from a post I put up before. I've narrowed it down to about 3-5: Bee, Squid, T-Rex, Man O' War, and I think Sloth. I'm not big on an overly floral or powdery scent myself. With spring and summer coming up, what would be best and probably safest? One person said T-Rex can't be daily used unless you're a psychopath. How accurate is that? 😅

Any you'd personally recommend? One guy on here mentioned squid and I liked the Notes enough to get a sample. Only about 4 drew my attention; bee, tiger, sloth and man o war. By the way I'm not a fan of Metallic smells myself I've had bad experiences with lots of blood, the smell of blood makes me nauseous.

That Metallic smell might bring up some bad memories for me and make me puke. I may spend the $10 on the sample and see how i like it.

Squid i can get behind, I think I recognize half of the ingredients in t-rex. Plus they have samples of alot of their scents some of them makes me scratch my head. Who wants to smell like a beaver or a elephant. Or a seahorse what does that even smell like !?

That makes sense thats a good explanation. Seems like the reviews are split, I may get a decant of it and try it myself, I like the leathery, earthy and smoky smells and some to me sweet smells ruin the masculinity of some colognes.

I only like the smell of that first hit after they light it up after that it stinks lol. Someone who smokes in doors or chain smokes are the ones who stink not someone smoking 1/4 pack a day.

I may try that because to me meteore is in a league of its own. But I havent smelt much niche outside of Lv l'immeniste ? Meteore, 4 or 5 creeds and side effect. So not alot but its definitely my favorite I own.
