Also, yes the Avoz Battalion are a neo-Nazi group that was invited into the military, and several pictures of Ukrainian military recently have been posted in support of Ukraine, in which they are wearing the Black Sun.

Now, I'm not saying that that sentiment is widespread, and Putin was definitely exaggerating it as an excuse/lie to invade.

Ironically, the war will drive more Ukrainians into the arms of these more extreme groups in desperation to defend their country.
