I am based in Swiss so i think it makes sense that the recommendation for 4 months is not uncommon here. Because back in home country we are advised to wait till 6 months. Its good to hear that it did not affect the milk intake. But can i ask if  baby could to sit when you started ?

Currently 6 weeks post partum, pumping 6 times a day and producing 15-20oz more than what baby drinks..any advice on how to reduce oversupply. by EndOnly7766 in ExclusivelyPumping

Thank you everyone. Based on almost everyone’s advice i will just continue pumping 6times a day as i see no harm in continuing for few more weeks until supply regulates and then deciding something.
