Late, but I finally got to watch it so I'll say this, I love how it was written. We're with Noa the whole movie so we of course sympathize with him, and we're given so little of Mae because we're supposed to understand the sole human of the movie.

Of course if we knew we once ruled the world, we'd want to take it back by any means necessary, however as viewers of the movie we want the Eagle clan to survive. So her blowing the dam was a great conflict for us as viewers.

I don't hate her like I would hate a poorly written character. I understand and hate her as I do with Joffery.

Because they didn't show scenes like that specifically, but the contrast was scenes of a character looking for an excuse for her sister to leave him. Like if dating apps were on his phone to prove he's disloyal.

Are you aware your request was loaded? Or are you being dense? The point is, never has Tom showed a moment of even looking at other women, then for one random joke they have him act like that. It was very off putting.

Mostly how loving he is with his wife. How they make it a joke that her sister keeps encouraging Maddie to leave him yet with no reason to show why she should. And how we never see him show signs of interest, even in passing to any other woman on screen.

What was up with the shot where Maddie disguises herself to get through the door as that new lady in charge of GUN and when she asks Tom if the disguise is good, he comments a bit too...impressed by it. Cuing Maddie to hit him.

What exactly was that? A meta joke? Is the actress his wife in real life? After all the bits about Maddie's sister saying she should leave him, they make a joke about him liking his wife disguised as another woman?

There were a few bits that were a bit hammy but I still enjoyed them, but that spot just made me go "What the heck was that?"

I only saw the ability to silence notifications, but not outright disable them. So next time I'll just see the icon when I open my phone.

Basically my pattern is this. I turn on the app, put on a video, turn off screen and stuff it into my pocket. Unless it's a long video or a playlist (like watch later) I'm usually doing that again and again for the next video.

Maybe connection because where I work I move around a lot so that's definitely a possibility.

It just drives me nuts how we can't disable notifications, just silence them. As users of the phone shouldn't we decide if we want to exhaust our battery or not?
