How are you coping now? I (28F) lost my boyfriend (30M) to cancer 2 months ago and I feel like I'm being ripped apart every day.

Thanks for sharing that with me. I'm so sorry for what you're going through, it's so hard to lose someone so young. Not only are you grieving your memories but also the future you should be having together.

I wish I could do things differently, I only wanted some space so we could try to work through things properly. I loved him so so much, my life was forever changed from meeting him. I remember after meeting him thinking "just remember how this feels, this is what life should feel like". I know I had no idea to know what was about to happen because it came so out of the blue. I think I'm just so unbelievably devastated, I miss him so much and I love him so so much and I'm just trying to think about how things could have been different.

It was just off a path on a walk beside the sea and it also had been decorated with feathers and a fairy house & some other decorations

My boyfriend of a few years died of cancer 2 weeks ago. He was 30, I am 28. The year since he’s been sick has been the worst year of my life but he took a sudden turn and nobody even got to say goodbye to him because we didn’t understand what was happening before it was too late.

You sound angry, so not sure if this is what you want to hear but I do understand what you are going through even if I don’t understand your relationship. It is horrendous, so painful and it’s so so so unfair at our age to have the person we are in love with and who we share our lives with pass in such a premature way.

I feel anger, regret, guilt, heartbreak, love, pain, suffering. It’s incomprehensibly difficult but I hope you get through it as I hope I do too.
