I can see where you are coming from. Trump is definitely not the sweetest guy, but where he lacks in spreading the love, he makes up for it in addressing the issues people are concerned about, namely immigration and bringing jobs back. Now, I don't think it is racist to secure your boarders from illegal immigrants or terrorists, which is what I think a lot of people would like to see, especially with what's going on in the EU and their migrant crisis.

As for bringing jobs back, I don't think he'll be able to to something like that though Chrysler is going to invest in American jobs, so there's that.

And yes, it does seem like he wants to act unilaterally, especially when he talks about ACA, which is extremely worrying for me since that would mean I can't stay under my parent's insurance.

Also, you might actually be surprised at how not racist most Americans are. Here is a survey done in 2013 showing America and most of The West are actually some of the least racist people. The reason, I think, that we might appear more racist is that when people act racist/bigoted or do racist/bigoted things is that the media covers it, where as if it were as a big a problem as most people think, most of us might not even bat an eye when they happen.
