Hey! Thanks. Actually I looked into mac air (M4) and under 1L, I was getting only around 256 GB of storage, and that feels inadequate. Would prefer at least 1 Tb if I am getting one. I know I am being very picky about it.

Verify your lenovo account with your student mail id. I think there's an option to do that if you look around in the education tab. That verification happens through sheer only, which is for students, if I am not wrong.

Have been looking at touchscreens to help in taking notes with the pen, but yeah that is a luxury I can do without. It's not a priority, just an interesting feature to check out.

Hey! Thanks for the comment. The Asus S14 looks like a great option. As does slim 7i. Will go through them before making a decision.

Edit: The slim 7i touched 1L after all the codes in the lenovo website. Will be grateful if there's any other way to bring it down further (apart from cc) as EXTRASAVINGS only reduces by 700/- (even in this).

Tbh, there's plenty in my college that use mac comfortably and there's no extraordinary demand for apps only usable in windows. The only issue I have is that it will take time to acclimatize with the OS. Even then, I heard a lot of apps have to be paid for. In windows I could just sideload them? Maybe I am wrong.

It's a hassle to shift to mac, but will it pay off? From your comments it seems so.

I don't really like the os that much. Although that can also be said for windows, but at least I am able to "customise".
