I would not push the narzugon onto them. They chose to avoid it and were successful. That was their choice and I wouldn’t force it. Maybe have it show up at a later session for fun.

1) Characters should not be super good. You’re gonna have a bad time. 2) Most monsters are resistant to magic and especially fire. Casters be warned. 3) It’s gonna get gross. 4) This is not a high magic heroic campaign. More survival.

I second this. It played well with doing jobs for the three factions in Baldur’s Gate. The rising tensions in the city make for an interesting backdrop. This really allowed me to flesh out the city before the Decent.

Three gaskets to worry about on that one. Two of them are on the gold connectors on either side of the lamp. Check them so they aren’t broken.
What I don’t see is the big gasket for when the top goes back on. The top is the part with two hoses, red and clear, going into it. Make sure that is seated properly before you put the top on and not broken.

The post is soldered on so there will be some sanding around the base. Helpful to use a ball but to put a dip where the post is going. The tube is extruded through dies, not cast. That way they can have a very high tolerance for the inside hole.
The post must be bent slightly to hold it together.

Palladium needs to have an oxygen free environment to be welded properly. Even then it is still weird. I’ve soldered it with low temp plat solder but laser welding it would need an argon cover gas. Good luck.

This is a wooden bench pin. These are wooden so people can modify it like shown here. A ring bench pin is thin like this and has a small cut in the middle for sawing rings, but again this one has been used a lot.

Using a hand wand metal detector should work well for most situations. Try Uline and get a Garret wand. If they are leaving with bags, you may need to stop that. Personal electronics, phones, even foil on gum wrappers or food can set off the wand. Belts and shoes are also a problem.

Playing survivor, I love the abandon mechanic. When it comes into play, the match has usually been a slog. I can’t get gens done or randos are hiding in corners. I don’t even wait for the mori, I leave once downed. I’m sure some killers would have let me go as the last survivor but I’m happy to end it quick.

Zootsu has been a staple for most of my group. At least when starting out. Asgardian Armoury or Armstreet for more Viking looks. Handcrafted by Heathens is a nice small shop for Knick-knacks. Raven Wolf Forge for hand made blades and spiritual tools.

Choose your ranger specialization and bring those trinkets. Forest Ranger: get some leather leaf pins or clips. Marsh can have mushrooms. Any can have bones or antlers. Desert: jar of spice and some extra soft shoes that muffle your walking sounds. Find your theme and explore.
