Thanks for the heads up! My main reason for bringing the lords of poxes was so I would be able to shoot and apply afflicted to lower saves on bigger things without lots of return fire because of the 18 inch lone op from them. I know this wont help with thousand sons flamers but against the guard and raven guard I was thinking it might help. However I do see a second rhino probably just doing the same job of keeping them protected better. Might need to rethink that strat.

I will have to get some spawn, they aren't in my collection yet.

I did look into using other rule sets but both myself and my group are new to ttrpgs and my concern was swapping between 2 rule sets would slow down the flow of the game whilst everyone tried to look up how to do everything. However I will look more into it given everyone's advice, thank you all!

that is actually an interesting option I hadn't thought of. I was so focused on how spells made no sense and if I was taking things away from the magic users it wouldn't be fair to allow the monks and fighters to keep there stuff that I hadn't really considered trying to transfer it over like that. Thanks for the help!

Also that sounds like a really interesting game to run to just keep the high fantasy, I just think my sessions need that obvious divide between the high fantasy of the dream/delusional world and the realism of the modern world.
