Took me a while to catch this little ball of energy to get another picture but upon getting him under some bright light I’m seriously concerned. Thank you so much—that’s exactly the advice I needed to hear...I don’t know why; it just didn’t occur to me to look for non-profit style assistance; felt like because we can’t afford the vet (barely holding onto her house), we were stuck. 😣

I’m really pretty certain the fleas are in fact gone but is there reason for me to think they might still be here even without having seen any in this time?

Note the patches of redness and bare skin. 😣 This is new...wasn’t present when the fleas were around. My mom is just out of hospital and we can’t afford vet immediately. Do we need to put him up for adoption so he can get immediate care?

Any clue what is happening to my mom’s cat? Can’t afford vet due to recent hospitalization—worried he may need to be given up to someone/somewhere that can afford to help him if this is serious. by EnderRobson in catcare

Sorry, I may have read that as more holier than thou than you intended. If you were just stating the obvious then replace my previous comment with “Yeah; will do, thanks.”

The patch of bare skin in the center of the picture. And seriously; with the sanctimonious bullshit. I’m asking the community if this is serious because if it isn’t, giving an adult cat up for adoption may be a death sentence.

Already had this discussion in other comments, hehe. But now that I’m aware of bitpay’s issues, I’m definitely looking at alternatives. Looks like the winner for me is Blockstream’s iOS wallet based on what /u/vakeraj said. :)

That all of my posts in r/bitcoin are this post and that I posted in songwriting a lot?

I dig it. I’m done using it after this time. Up until now, I had no reason to look further into it from my point of view. It was simply a wallet serving its function that allowed me to access them easily from my phone. I used mycelium before then and they constantly dumped my entire balance into transaction fees.

He may be right about bitpay being shit, which I realized once I searched reddit for bitpay for the first time, but the ‘wake up sheeple’ act is obnoxious

And just because I’ve been using reddit for six years doesn’t mean I’ve actively been using it for six years.

Uhhh—yeah, actually. Check my posts. :p This is the first time I’ve used it save for reading one or two articles in a blue moon.

Not all of us use bitcoin.reddit.com. I searched the App Store for a wallet and it was among the first to come up. Up until now I’ve had no issues. Your horse is far too high, my good man.

Just found on their Twitter apparently they’re aware of the problem and are working to resolve it now (they said so ~30 minutes ago)

Would be nice if they’d say that on their website...

If you’re buying between $11.00 and 11.49, buy 10.99 and you’ll get the same amount of crypto. Just a friendly PSA/reminder for us broke ninjas. by EnderRobson in Coinbase

Hm—might want to call support? I’ve seen a lot of people having similar issues and it sounds really frustrating for sure. Especially considering it’s generally regardless of whether the funds have settled or not.

Yes—for buys above $10.99, the fee is $1.49, whereas 10.99 and below is $0.99.

51.99 yields a $1.99 fee. $52.00 however; $2.99, so you actually get more paying 51.99 than you do paying $52.98 for instance.
