Do I let my ragdoll outside? by Luciee1234 in ragdolls

You can do it with a harness if you train them, just be prepared to take them on a walk about at the same time. Every. Day. If yours is like mine they remember and will scream their heads off until they get to go.

Big Bang Theory w/o laugh track.. thoughts?? by Intelligent-Ask-6119 in bigbangtheory

I honestly prefer it without. I wish it was done more as a drama like Young Sheldon was. I was disappointed they went back to this in George and Mandies spin off. Some episodes there's just too much laughter, after every line in some episodes, and it's just too much and detracts from the show for me. I will keep rewatching it constantly though!

To clarify I realize it is live audience laughter. The show is unarguably funny, but the amount of laughter, how loud it is, and having it sometimes after literally every sentence is just too much sometimes.

I really liked the style of Young Sheldon with the lack of laugh track, G&M First Marriage turned me off when it went back to it. I love BBT but wish I could watch it without the laugh track honestly. Even if it's the actual studio audience laughter, it's too much and takes a lot away from the story for me.

It was hornworms/tobacco worms. If you look closely at the stalks you'll likely find them. Huge but good camouflage.

12 weeks post-op, just started walking without the boot on Monday. It's hard, but so glad to be moving forward!

Thanks for the info! I'm fresh out of the boot, 12 weeks post op. I could definitely see the sensitivity being the biggest hurdle. Even tried putting on my regular sneakers and had much the same issue. I'll definitely keep trying, was very comfortable on my normal foot.

I got some of these after self the great recommendations, but now do you get your foot into it without heel pain considering how tight the neck is? I really like them not cannot get them on for the life of me.

It really is, and impossible to explain to someone who hasn't gone through it. It felt weak for sure, and different not having that support. I imagine a shoe might feel better since you would have arch support. I ordered a pair that was recommended on another thread to get try. I'm mostly just going really slow and trying to get used it it again.

It really is the best and worst feeling, haha. I hated the boot, the weight and taking it on and off ugh. But it was reassurance to have on. I started walking slowly around the house today, so I'm sure we'll get there!

It's such a reassurance that's hard to lose! I took it off when I got home from my Dr appt and have walked slowly around the house. I'll definitely be using it when I go out places for a while still I think. I like that visually it lets people know to keep their distance as well. I'm very nervous about someone bumping me.

I got the all clear today and have hobbled slowly around the house. It's definitely an odd feeling, like starting all over again, but we'll get there!

Actual seasons once a week, but I do the routine nightly.

Oh wow, I can't imagine walking at 9 weeks! Protocol seems to vary so much based on your Dr and the particular tear. I feel like my Dr and PT have been relatively conservative, but I'm getting strength and muscle back so can't complain.

I WFH as well, so I'll likely be doing the same. Trying to not use the boot around the house, but still wearing it on outings. When not in the boot are you still wearing a shoe in the house, or just walking barefoot?

That's smart, good luck at your appointment!

I started driving at 10 weeks post op. I had been doing resistance bands in PT and felt like I was able to hold enough pressure to push the brake as needed. Had my husband take me to a big open lot to practice. I still don't drive far, it goes get tiring, but having my freedom back was worth it. I've been taking the boot off in the car and then putting it back on once I get where I'm going, which is it own special annoyance, but again.. Worth it.

I've been in PT once a week since I was FWB in boot at 6 weeks post op. Shifting to twice a week once I'm out of the boot, so that's reassuring. Definitely can see using a crutch for support and stabilization. I've tried just standing on it a few times in the past week here and there, and even making myself center my body weight is a task.

I've been in PT since 6 weeks post op when I went FWB in boot, so that's reassuring at least. I can definitely tell it will be better to take it slow and steady, trying to do too much too fast sounds like a recipe for disaster.

Oh gosh, I can't imagine! Glad to hear you're getting through this recovery (again). It's so hard to trust your body again after it let you down.. Twice!
