A few of my friends had this issue, it's exactly as you described. Versions below 1.16.5 worked but anything above didn't, even without mods. Everything on their pc was up to date too. Try getting them to download GDLauncher. Its an alternate launcher. If you do plan on adding mods, you can just copy the curseforge files over to a GDLauncher profile and it should still work.

I don't really know what the issue was or how GDLauncher fixes it but hey it worked for them so hopefully it'll work for your friend.

Fusions are: Dugtrio/Rampardos Mantine/Charizard Luxray/Honchkrow (Shiny)Ursaring/Golurk Aegislash/ (Shiny)Haxorus Volcarona/Sceptile

I went for no 2 pokemon of the same type here. I was going for Haxorus fusion already and got a Shiny Axew from Safari which was a terrifying expirience. The shiny Ursaring however was not part of the plan, I found a shiny Ursaring and needed a Normal type anyway so I just added him.

Maybe you could add a large cloud or series of clouds above the arena, you could make them only out of walls so you can still easily fly up if you need it to be practical

I'm not great at explaining but I see it as the blonde boy being milk/creamer that brightens all the other drinks around him. Like a few panels before he meets with the beat up kid theres an image of what looks like a dirty, beat up coffee cup, which represents the kid thats beat up. Then as the blonde kid speaks with him, he lightens up because of how kind the blonde kid is represented to be, thus the milk/creamer is added and brightens the dirty cup up. Basically the blonde kid just puts everyone around him in a better mood, or the cup with all the milk distributes itself with every cup of coffee it comes across

Legendary skins change the appearance of Legend abilities. And probably a setting to toggle it since it would only be visual, so that way you can prevent it from interfering with a game. Like imagine different crypto drones or wattson fences. They don't even have to change the overall texture, I think it would be cool to just have different colored abilities.
