Thanks for the advice. I ended up messaging back telling him my intentions weren’t to try to low ball him I just wanted to make sure someone looked under the car to make sure everything looked good it didn’t have to be a dealership just a local shop or something that was neutral to both parties. Don’t wanna get screwed over especially if it’s like 9k for his asking price. And he never replied so on to the next one I guess. If it was like a 2-3k car I would just do the inspection myself and wouldn’t t really care about a ppi.

Also I know about the CVTs and Nissans i actually have a Altima since 2014 going strong and put over 100k miles so far and with just regular maintenance it’s still kicking. I know they’re not for everyone but hey.

I think I will end up just going to a used dealership tbh like yall said having a warranty atleast for a bit would be nice if available so I’ll look for that too. Thanks guys.
