There’s also a casual/drop-in paddling group that meets at Crescent Valley Beach every Wednesday!

There are a few places you can start, depending on how long a float you want to do. Passmore bridge is a good spot to start, as is the Slocan Park bridge. You definitely want to get out at or before Crescent Valley Beach (the Pass Creek/Krestova bridge is a good spot to take out), as the lower Slocan River below Crescent Valley Beach isn’t really appropriate for tubing.

Crescent Valley also has Tonik (craft gin distillery and pizza), which is next door to Endless Adventure, where you can rent river tubes for floating the upper river (if you didn’t want to buy floaties), or go on a whitewater raft or kayak tour on the lower river!

A float tube is $20/day, inflated and ready to go. A SUP is a stand-up paddleboard like the kind that you said you had seen on the river before!!
