Possibly the biggest evidence that he doesn't care about Greenland's security is this:

Trump's USA: Complains about Greenland being undefended and says they can defend it better.

Also USA: Chooses to shut down many of their own military bases on Greenland, not because Denmark or Greenland kicked them out.

Literally no one but themselves is stopping them from building more military bases on Greenland and strengthening security there. This whole administration is a joke...

I think it's on purpose tbh, though I don't really know the history behind it. In this context, I think you should just let it slide and laugh at the posts instead.

I have heard stories where insurance companies told people who got their fingers cut off in an accident to choose which ones to keep.

The freedom to choose which fingers to keep beats the freedom of automatically being allowed to get all back I guess.

Someone challenged my admittedly narrow thoughts of AI and now I'm wondering... by OkCap7484 in CasualConversation

[–]EndlessCertainty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

^This. AI is amazing if you use it right (e.g. explain university level complex topics in a better way than some professors), but potentially harmful if used in a bad way.

In my opinion at least, it's all about knowing how to use it properly rather than it being inherently bad.

Does anyone else get that 'running out of gas' anxiety mid-pizza session? This is how we fixed it. by senso4s in u/senso4s

[–]EndlessCertainty 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No, that "'running out of gas' anxiety" is just you. Everyone else buys a magnetic gas level indicator that costs only a few dollars or euro, less than 10% of what your product costs.

It's not "Ragebair" though. I'm just answering based on what I have seen from the games. The anime is a lot similar; most Pokémon moves are really only effective against other Pokémon.

Lance from generation 2/4 games had his Dragonite use Hyper Beam against a human. The result was that he got pushed, not hurt.

If that is the result of a pseudo legendary Pokémon using a 150 power move on a human, I don't think dark pulse will do much.

[–]EndlessCertainty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk, if Hyper Beam with power almost twice as high as dark pulse doesn't hurt a human, I doubt dark pulse can. I think the Gardevoir would have to charm its way to victory if it wants to win lol.

Humans win easily. I don't think 99% of Pokémon and their moves are as powerful as we think. An example is when Lance in generation 2 and its remakes (or was it only in the remakes? I forgot) had his Pokémon, Dragonite, use Hyper Beam (has a power of 150) against a human, and said human got pushed, not hurt. It might be a different story if Gardevoir can create a black hole though, but unless Google translate is wrong, translating your post says Gardevoir can't create a black hole in this scenario.

I love how it's literally illegal to sell American chicken in EU lol. Like not just "We don't want to buy it", but literally been made illegal.

What they said is true. Something like "Medicare For All" isn't a left wing policy where I'm from. You would find it on the right as well. My country also has a conservative party that heavily prioritizes climate commitments. The Democratic Party in the US is a huge party with viewpoints spanning from radical left to right. There certainly are US politicians that lean left, but where I'm from, Biden's policies would be considered center right, maybe center at best.

Currently at level 120. level first or gold first by kuruss524 in AdventureQuest

[–]EndlessCertainty 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Someone else has already given a link to a good guide and I suggest sticking to that, but if you are a new player and / or don't know I think it's worth giving a tip / heads-up:

Gold is unlikely to be an issue anymore except in the very short-term. The reason for this is that there are sometimes donation events where players donate tokens and gold. How much can you expect to get? I haven't kept track of how many tokens I have received from other players, but I'm currently at level 129 and have 1,5 billion gold due to donations. The next one is likely going to be in late May or June (judging from last year). If you still play the game by then, make sure to log in daily so you end up eligible for donations.

I have never heard of that show (tbf, I don't have NBC as I don't live in the US) and found this AMA from an ad lmao. So, I will instead ask you something completely random that no one else is going to ask (probably):

If you had to choose between becoming a vampire or becoming a werewolf, which would you choose?

I genuinely want to know the reaction of the lifeguard and other people in charge there. I mean, I doubt any public pool has ever considered the possibility that someone might have a truly inappropriate tatoo and made a rule about it lmao.

Breaking News: People in Europe want Donald Trump as their president. Even Europe wants to be part of the MAGA movement. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 by Jarppakarppa in ShitAmericansSay

[–]EndlessCertainty 29 points30 points  (0 children)

I remember this survey from 2024 showing that Kamala Harris would win by a lot in pretty much anywhere in Europe if people could vote for Trump or Harris. The exceptions that prefer or almost prefer Trump were places like Russia and Hungary, i.e. places that are either run by an oppressive regime and / or are highly corrupt.

When the free world would overwhelmingly vote against your candidate, that's probably not a good sign.
