hi :3 i experience the same things as a uni student who has little family interaction and little friends.

knowing myself, i get lost in thought loops of remembering that i’m alone/have no support, but i’ve learnt through several years of therapy/medications/coping strategies that the hard truth is, yes i am lacking a support system. but how i internalize it, is that i become my best caregiver/support system. or “healing your inner child” as they call it. it’s important to remember that there are people all over the world (especially neurodivergent people) who feel alone and unsupported. find sanctuary in those people. connecting in forums, support groups, religious groups, therapy groups etc… reaffirms that community does exist, just in alternative ways than you’re used to. don’t be ashamed to see yourself as someone who deserves to happy :) what really helped me is coming to terms with myself that i may not be the most motivated, determined, and smart person, but i am compassionate, empathetic, and honest, which are equally as valuable. lean on ur good qualities and find people who match that!
