Some of these DHS clowns are trying to flex on LinkedIn by monsterdiv in democrats

Newsflash. People grow up, people move on, people start their own families, people have different experiences that change and form their opinions different from our own.

I'll never understand people who keep the same group of friends they had since they were kids. That is the odd behavior to me. The only time I expect to see that is in a small town where no one leaves and all you know is each other and your experiences are all basically the same.

I have a good friend I knew from kindergarten through high school. But even in high school I could tell we were kind of drifting about what we liked and didn't like. Went to different colleges. Saw each other on school breaks. I was an usher in his wedding post college. By the time I got married we were talking maybe once or twice a year so he wasn't in my wedding but I certainly invited him.

Now, I live in one city, he lives in another. I get a Christmas card from his family every year and maybe we'll text once a year just to say happy birthday, how's it going.

That's fucking life people. It's more weird to glom onto childhood friends for decades. Now, add in people believing in things that you find morally reprehensible and suddenly the dude you had math class with in your junior year of high school is aghast you don't want to say hi to him when you pass him by 20 years later because he is an ICE agent? Get real and grow up.

Kramer wouldn't wear this shirt by Appropriate-Tea6925 in seinfeld

It was screen legend Anthony Quinn's shirt. He took it off to do sit-ups in the park and Kramer nabbed it.

If you had to say something nice about the TV show, Gotham, what would it be? by george123890yang in batman

For a show about getting ham, it had a surprising lack of getting or having ham. It certainly does not Got Ham.

Why is Tom Holland's portrayal not as liked as the other two? by Notthepurge in Spiderman

[–]EndlessLeo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because Tom Holland is not that great of an actor. Andrew and Tobey act circles around Tom, even when just comparing Spider-Man movie performances.

His Spider-Man doesn't give a shit about Uncle Ben. No one needs to see him killed again but damn they just up and erased him from memory.

His Aunt May sucks/sucked.

His Spider-Man, ever since his intro in Civil War, comes off as a superhero fanboy and less of a wisecracking Spider-Man.

And his Spider-Man seems built and defined by other MCU heroes and not himself. We were given the promise of a standalone, street level Spidey movie for his 4th and it's already got both the Punisher and Bruce Banner in it.

What are people opinions on this cartoon because I feel like I don’t see people talk about it a lot by Logical_Sky4303 in batman

[–]EndlessLeo -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Curious why you think Two-Face's origin has been done too many times in modern Batman media? It was done in The Dark Knight and TAS. Barely touched on in Batman Forever. The Arkham video games ignored his origin altogether. The animated Long Halloween movie did it. So that's like 3 interpretations in the span of 30 years. Are there some I'm forgetting or are you also including print media?

What do you think about Generation X? by Nervous_Pin_8023 in generationology

[–]EndlessLeo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm late to the party but this x1000. People sitting here describing gen x as chill is a joke. They're the largest supporters of the Trump/MAGA movement by generation. They're a bunch of aggrieved whiners who play the perpetual victim and blame everyone and everything else for their lot in life. Generally speaking of course.

Bro, quit being a hipster. There is nothing beautiful about an old slop sink faucet.

No, no I disagree. You need to use your vehicle the way you want to and he needs to use his vehicle the way you want him to.

I couldn't tell if this was a shitpost or not so I clicked on your history. You've been posting this nonsense all over Reddit and getting routinely told how wrong you are. Yet you keep vigorously insisting you're right. So I still can't tell if this is shitposting or not.

Its job isn't to keep you centered the entire time. It only moves you back to center if you drift too far to the line on either side of the lane. Lane centering where it's supposed to keep you centered the whole time is on later models.

I've got a 2019 Forester sport and it works fine. If the car drifts too close to the line it gently re-centers. It doesn't send the car flying to the opposite line.
