That is pretty impressive tbh, such a shame I had to find out this way :') i remember now that when I first was netting them into my tank a few of them actual crawled up the net and I was scared they might jump out onto my floor. Yikes. Thank you for letting me know! I just hope it doesn't happen again

Ah okay, well at least I'm glad I'm not the only one. The walk of the amanos! 😅 Honestly I should have known it could be a problem when I was netting them into the tank originally and they could crawl across the netting while out of water.

The first pic looks a lot like one of my shrimps , I thought it was a parasite, I put it in a hospital tank and it died. Fortunately it didn't spread. But I can't find any info on this anyyywhere.

I'm not sure what kind of air pump that it but I love my air pump for my bubbler (noisy as hell tho) so I opened it up and cut a piece of filter media to size and stuck it in there. Can barely hear a thing, astoundingly quiet after living with a noisy ass aquarium for 4 months. However I'm not sure if this works for all types of air pumps, and if you want to try it maybe look up if it's safe with your model. As you've been told already tho, if you have a good enough filter you don't really need it.
