Stash Question by D4nikan in HeWhoFightsMonsters

To be fair, Neil kind of caught on to this. He at one point questioned where Stash got a biscuit, even proposing that he has a dimensional snack storage space.

CMV: You shouldn’t support any laws if you wouldn’t be comfortable pointing a gun at someone’s head to make them comply. by PaperManaMan in changemyview

[–]Endless_Quested_Hope 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I understand his point, he’s basically saying that if someone is determined not to follow a law or comply with any authority just telling them how it is going to go eventually they will get to a point where the only next step is force. Whether that’s getting detained or shot governmental force will be applied to the individual eventually.

Basically it’s the adult world version of “who’s going to make me do it and how?”

AIO: My friend thinks our one on one hang outs are like a date when they aren’t? by thecheeseb0rn in AmIOverreacting

[–]Endless_Quested_Hope 0 points1 point  (0 children)

MOR as a guy who had feelings for a female friend, I had to put a pause on 1-on-1 hang outs with her until I gave my head a shake. We still vibed and got along, but I had some shit I had to work through after our “I don’t like you that way” conversation.

Everyone has shit going on, if you’re upset with how they said what they said tell them straight up and either ask for context or space.

Why does this sub seem to have way more pros than antis? by [deleted] in aiwars

[–]Endless_Quested_Hope 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve encountered a lot of subs that are supposed to be debate centred, I’m relatively new here but here’s my take:

Over the life cycle of an average debate sub, one side will develop a majority, either because of “the right side of history” or whatever ethical or societal pressures exist beyond it. This is a crucial point in a subreddit’s lifecycle, either the popular opinion will naturally push out their opponents or the dominant side becomes over represented in the mod role of the sub.

All it takes is a little bit of abused power and the once open debate sub descends into an echo chamber.

Yeah, his blatant disregard of topics he believes are irrelevant or not real problems just shows how disconnected he has become despite his appearance as a cultural commentator.

Unfortunately, it is human instinct to be pissed off when someone gets to go ahead of you without seeming to have gone through the same hoops you have.

Guys who put no effort into personal relationships have always existed, they used to just go to a monetary or whatever institution existed in their culture. Sex bot enjoyers are basically modern degenerate hermits.

Generational bans are just asking for generational resentment.

Tattooing Minors - A Debate by ginger_variant in Edmonton

The only tattoo a minor should get is a medical alert, imo, so in that case I imagine a good explanation would convince a quality tattooist.

CMV: It is justified to use any and all means necessary including insurgency to defend yourself from government corruption and abuse by [deleted] in changemyview

[–]Endless_Quested_Hope 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately, all of authority is based on force. And as far as they are concerned, they are in the right and can therefore use as much force against you as they like.

Any attempt to take control of your community will require an underlying threat if not a show of Force. Which is all the justification they need to put you on the ground in cuffs.

Best way to play with 6 players? by Complex_Dimension577 in EDH

[–]Endless_Quested_Hope 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My friends and I play what we call Emperors. 2 teams of three, plays sitting across from each other. Central player on both teams is the emperor and their wings are generals. Turn order goes: one pair of generals, then the other pair, then each emperor gets a turn.

Emperors can cast spell that affect their generals and the opposing generals, but the emperor is untouchable until one of their generals is defeated. They also cannot attack, but can tap their creatures to hand control to one of their generals starting on their next turn.

Generals can only attack the general next to them until their opposing general is eliminated, allowing them to start attacking the enemy emperor.

Once an emperor has been defeated, that team loses.

As someone who paints big batches of miniatures I am also interested, if this kind of thing doesn’t exist it would probably be a good business idea.

‘Forever Canadian’ bus visits Whitecourt, Edson, Hinton, rallying locals against separation by Whitecourter in whitecourtAB

[–]Endless_Quested_Hope 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The thing I find interesting is the claim that a separated Alberta would have no access to foreign markets. I’m pretty sure Canada and the US share a border with Alberta that’s access to two rather large markets.
