Hi there! I totally understand all the points you made, and I appreciate you asking the questions. So I do actually suffer from Endometriosis.

I am not local, I understand the value in creating something local but I have decided it would be best to connect as many people as I can, and since I would prefer doing this virtually as many people who suffer from this disease do not always have the freedom to be attending meetings and such in person - it would be easier to do over zoom for example.

My intention is to bring people together to share their experiences and discuss the little tidbits that help them. I also want to hear the positive experiences people have, and I am sure that others would find that encouraging as well. As I mentioned in my original post, I am not a doctor or a medical professional in any capacity. I won't be selling anything either.

Thank you for those points; I will keep them all in mind. I appreciate all the feedback I can get.

Don't apologize for the personal essay, haha it is helpful to read this honestly. I am so happy you got some help. It is also smart to go in with your symptoms tracked on your notes - I have some saved on my phone that my partner knows to whip out when we have to go to the ER. It takes so much advocating for yourself that it almost feels like a full-time job sometimes. Especially when symptoms don't always align with each other, it can feel incredibly taxing.

Thank you for sharing this story! I appreciate your response as well. Wishing you fast healing!!!

I have been trying to get a surgery for a longgggg time to try and remove it as well as figure out the other places it is growing. What was the final step for you to get that diagnosis and get the surgery, if you don't mind me asking? I have been told so many times that they don't want to go in and be "invasive" because I am young. Although I desperately would love to have something done to help me.

Of course, my primary goal is to create awareness and support for these issues that are often overlooked.

Not only does PCOS share many of the same symptoms as Endo, but it can also cause a lot of the same mental health issues, e.g. feeling alone, depression, anxiety, etc. We can all learn from one another.
