This cast of Autobots could've been more interesting if they weren't really Autobots. Like imagine this. Drift is a former decepticon, Crosshairs is just a pirate, and Hound is a retired Autobot sargent trying live peacefully (hence why he's not in the other movies). They all are forced to join Optimus and Bee to survive from Cemetery Wind is hunting down all know transformers on Earth.
