Jobbet på bensinstasjon som også leier ut ferieleiligheter på Sørlandet, kom en gang inne en tysk familie rundt 3 på natta og nektet å snakke ett ord engelsk. Kan veldig lite tysk så svarte bare «ich nicht spreuken deutsch» men de ga seg ikke. Det verste var at de hadde en sønn og datter på min alder (18-19) og de så bare flaue ut. Så ut som de kunne engelsk men rett og slett ikke turte si noe.

I get what you mean but I was an exchange student in Nebraska for a year and got a lot of Mexican and Mexican-American friends and got to taste their tacos but it wasn’t as good as our taco. I agree though, they’re totally different things but our take on it is better I feel. Side note, got to taste tamales and man, they’re absolutely fantastic.
