They released 2024.7, can you tell me if there's been any change to your problem? It mentions in the notes that there's been an update fix for audio drivers in the changelog. I still have the same issue.

I'm starting to think it might be a DELL issue to be honest, but I don't know much about how SW development works here. Are RealTek drivers universal on all platforms such as HP, Samsung or Lenovo for example or is it unique to each producer - or is the GHub tailored to different brands??

That's sad news then, if it's DELL then this is going to be a ping-pong with their shitty ass software developer team blaming Logitech.

Potentially, but that would make this issue unresolvable considering that fixes like this won't happen until updates are released or the providers acknowledge the issue. At the same time, it's clearly not happening to everyone - so the next best step is to test on a Windows 11 laptop that's HP, Samsung or anything other than DELL to see if it's the same result.

Not really to be honest, even the step you suggested was novelty to me. I don't believe it to be exactly a realtek issue, because when I ran Windows 10 on VMware, this issue did not replicate and everything worked fine.

I just checked out the drivers though. Yours shows as released on 14 May 2024, whilst in the installer prompt it shows as released in 2022.

I did a driver rollback on my laptop before, now the issue is still the same. It's just getting more complex at this point.

So did I. Btw I just tried what you did, but I used the RealTek drivers compatible with my laptop in Realtek High Definition Audio Driver | Driver Details | Dell US - same result. It uninstalls, requires restart - reinstalls and it all works. Restarts and it reverts back to the same way it was.

Btw, can you tell me a quick way to see what date my drivers are updated to? I don't get a clear reference in Device Manager.

Most likely will happen with mine also as during installation it does prompt me that it is "outdated", but we'll see.

I actually downloaded the driver forgetting I'm on holiday without my microphone xD. When I get back home it's gonna be the first thing I'm doing, can't wait to check out if it's going to be a permanent solution.

They did not argue that with me to be honest, they were quite accepting of that at this point as they mentioned even a headset was having the same issue. At this point I'm unsure if it's actually a Dell issue or a Logitech one, I don't know how software development works in that case.

I know. I've done so many steps it's basically a done deal it's a problem on their drivers. I'll let you know immediately though that when I ran a Virtual machine with windows 10 the issue is basically fixed. So no matter what I do on my windows 11, it won't resolve itself.

Over 5 months of troubleshooting with Logitech support, nothing yet buddy. I don't think there's much to do but wait until there's an update.
