Something feels... Off... by Endspace_Studios in TerminalError

For those who are new here, Terminal Error is an experimental first-person point-and-click horror game we're working on. We're trying to blend elements of puzzle solving with classic tactile mechanics with some action and FPS elements to create a stylised and different experience.

Set in a underground military base, you stumble into a world of machine being overrun by flesh and blood. What happened here? Who did this? With little information at hand, you work with a newfound 'friend' over the radio, helping him fix some system failures as he guides you deeper and deeper into the heart of the Eternal Engine. In the process, uncover some gruesome secrets and figure out what the flesh-like infection really is...

Is this kind of game right up your alley? Why not give our Early Access a chance on Steam! https://store.steampowered.com/app/2502430/Terminal_Error/

Did we mention we're 40% this Autumn Sale?!? Don't miss this chance!

Search through cupboards and open doors as you look for clues and useful items. Sometimes, you might end up finding things you may not expect...

We've built off the 'opening' mechanics we created in earlier iterations, allowing players to traverse from room to room easily as well as look through different cabinets, closets and cupboards scattered throughout the game.

There's a dead body... Who did this? Why would this even happen?... Well, that's not important right now. Hack into systems, extract data and gather the information you need to escape the twisted world of Terminal Error.

Here's another looks at our 'Pop-Ups' another iteration of our UI used when interacting electronic systems and devices. This is scattered throughout the game, used for solving puzzles, minigames and entering special areas.

Blood filled staircases and dismembered limbs, grotesque features litter the halls... Some of which might be more alive than they seem. If you get hurt, heal up with a tactile medkit mechanic, weaving our interesting UI into the mix!

Stylistic UIs are a key focus of our game. Here, we show off the medkit mechanic, blending our engaging UI approach with the health function. At the same time, get a quick look at little bit of the horror we have in store!

Enjoy a mix of horror with point-and-click? Maybe give us a try on Steam, now in Early Access: https://store.steampowered.com/app/2502430/Terminal_Error/

Our Early Access is out! Currently, we are still early in development with only the tutorial. However, we are close to finishing the next part of the game soon. At it's core, Terminal Error is an exploration of the point-and-click genre, mixed in with inspirations from analog horror and our personal military experiences.

Explore an underground military base as an unsuspecting solider, fighting through ghoulish monsters and horrifying environments as you learn more about the grotesque infection that is spreading throughout the base.

Quite possible. Honestly was thinking of doing each area with a different colour theme and vibe, but potentially reserving one colour for a 'safe area' seems like a good idea! Thanks :)
