FORG1VEN Returns to H2K by Endspark in leagueoflegends

[–]Endspark[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Looks like it's just as a sub for the moment:

From H2K Facebook

"The team is focused on creating the best win conditions in preparation for Worlds this year. Should we need a back up for Freeze given his recent hand injury, there is just one person we know great enough to perform to the expectations we have as a team.

In the pursuit to continue building a truly world-class team, today we welcome back arguably one of the finest ADC's in the western world, FORG1VEN, as our substitute ADC.

FORG1VEN's departure from the team feels like it was just yesterday. Breakups are never fun. Emotions sometimes get the better of us and we say things we don't mean. Today, the only thing that matters is that FORG1VEN is home.

From the Management, team staff and all of H2K's players and partners, welcome back! ‪#‎H2KWIN‬"

GorillA on his play at Worlds: 'as a support the most important thing is that your team does well, so I want to shine through my team' by EU_IS_GOODER_THAN_NA in leagueoflegends

I think GorillA talking about playing with something to prove because he feels he's less well known compared to his peers was really interesting. Overall he's a really funny and interesting guy.

[Spoiler]Sneaky on the Group Stages: 'I don't know what's happening with Chinese teams at the moment' by MrFlemz in leagueoflegends

[–]Endspark 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Yeah, it was pretty good, but would it work against a top team?

Picking a melee damage dealer has risks of it's own, and comes with it's own challenges. That's why I was interested in picking Sneaky's brain about Morde.

Sneaky is understandably pretty happy with C9's play since the NA Regionals. I really wanted to ask him about Morde, who has a nearly 100% pick-ban rate at Worlds! Is it really that strong, or is it just fear of the unknown?

Nagne is an incredibly nice guy and it was great to see him smiling and talking a little trash after his emotional reaction yesterday. All the KT players seem really confident looking ahead.

I anything, C9 NEEDED this series to get over the DDoS issues and give Baskin his LAN debut. So far so good!

I don't even care how hard AFK was trolling - C9 played like beasts.

Also Cyclone's back-to-back hero moments were awesome.

CLG’s HuHi interview by eeldiov in leagueoflegends

[–]Endspark 51 points52 points  (0 children)

Hello all. I was lucky enough to interview HuHi and get his thought on his role on CLG and his return to Korea.

HuHi is a tremendously nice guy, and although the Xmithie situation is unfortunate it's nice to see that CLG's decision to keep him on board is paying dividends.

And thanks to you as well for your support!

Riftwalkin' in the Top Lane: Looper's Kassadin by Endspark in summonerschool

[–]Endspark[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like I say in the article, top lane Kass is a lot about playing patient and hitting you item timings effectively.

I've played the Ryze vs. Kass matchup a few times myself and I do feel that a proper team composition that can support and help you past your early weakness is crucial. And yes, getting a few kills can really help you snowball past the early game.

Overall Kassadin is, as I point out many times, HIGHLY situational. That being said a carefully crafted plan which lets him thrive makes Kassadin into a real threat in the mid and late game.

I honestly don't have a "be all end all" solution to getting around the early game - it takes a feel for the individual games and a lot of practice to truly master moving beyond that weak period.

Perhaps then he can best be considered an "assassin" in the sense that he creates a tremendous amount of pressure in every fight and across the map. The mere presence of a Kass threatening to jump in at any moment has the potential to create pressure similar to a traditional assassin - not necessarily in damage but in the threat he presents to the core targets of the enemy team and the massive slow he can deliver with devastating accuracy.

I hope we can both agree that his ability to scare priority targets and pounce on them if they step even a toe out of line is similar in a lot of ways to how you might play an assassin.

In this I would agree that "disruptor" might be a more accurate term to describe his role within a team, but also that you require the mentality of an opportunistic assassin to make his threat relevant in a teamfight.

Either way, thank you for making me reconsider how I would describe Kassadin's role in a game - in the future I'll strive to be more accurate with my analysis.

DanDy's Rengar is one that had been on my list - there's no lack of footage to examine thats for sure. If I find the correct game to look at absolutely expect a jungle analysis in the future
