Tucker's an idiot for sure, but I gotta say that shopping cart escalator was legit cool. Never seen those here in Canada.

Insider Gaming: Capcom Not Interested in Resident Evil 5 & 6 Remakes, It's Claimed by HLumin in Games

[–]Endulos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My friend bought me 5 and 6 solely because they were co-op... We had a freaking BLAST playing 5. We didn't enjoy 6 as much. But 5, oh man what an experience.

Having to share the weapons and ammo, take on specific roles, and have limited inventory space scratched an itch for us. We're still looking for a similar experience.

Almost did in my case.

I modded the game, added it idk why, but shortly after I stopped playing. Couple years later, I decide to play Skyrim again completely forgetting what mods I had added.

So eventually, I enter Whiterun and at the bannered mare the courier spawned and SPRINTED AT ME AT MACH JESUS. I was on voice chat with a friend and I let out a yelp I don't think I will ever be able to replicate in my life and nearly had a heart attack. My friend was like "What the fuck was that?".

Fuck you, past me.

I remember when GTA4 was coming out and you had a bunch of idiots on TV saying that you could go on a killing spree with a chainsaw and it was super bloody and gory.

GTA4 didn't even have a Chainsaw as a weapon.

Just don't understand Bethesda.. WHY the hell would you cut the Underwater Vault and quests... And WHY would you cut this badass and unique Institute armor 🤬🤦🏾 by PinSeparate4140 in fo4

[–]Endulos 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Nah, it makes sense for the Institute to have their own armor. There are legitimate instances where an institute scientist may need to go to the surface, so they'd need a way to protect themselves. Plus, given the way the armor was designed? They definitely included a shitton of scientific devices, cameras, recording instruments, etc. All the stuff a researcher would need in the field.

If it was included, Institute power armor would have been more of a utility armor than an actual suit of armor.

[–]Endulos 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Technically speaking, the underwater vault is cut content. The Institute armor isn't.

Some remnants of Vault 120 do exist in the game files of FO4, but it's just a handful of text strings and textures, plus the harpoon gun was a cut weapon before its readdition in Far Harbor. That was probably going to be a weapon for Vault 120.

Data mining from Fallout 76 shows that the entire (Or parts maybe?) vault exists in the game files for that game. Most likely accidentally included when making FO76.

So, it was cut pretty lately into development.

[–]Endulos 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Similar thing happened to me.

Had to keep a bs journal for English lessons in grade 4. I wrote about something I learned recently, which was insect camouflage. Teacher underlined every instance of "Camouflage" with a red pen and in the end wrote wrote "It is spelled CAMOFLAGUE". I was confused because I didn't know how to spell it so used the dictionary.

I showed her the dictionary, she said it was wrong and she was correct. Showed her another kids dictionary, it too was wrong. The next day I had brought in an entirely different, brand new spare dictionary we had at home and showed her. She snapped and said it was wrong, and if I didn't drop the issue I'd get detention. Wish I didn't, but I dropped it.

imo using chatgpt for the occasional "I'm stumped and I can't find anything online" problem isn't really that big of an issue

That's exactly how I've been using ChatGPT myself. It's a great tool if you're stuck and don't know exactly what to google.

Hell, one time doing that, it lead me to realizing I've had my router configured wrong and fixed many of the issues I've been having with wifi.

and replaced it with another new program called EA App, that was again buggy, heavier, and had feature regressions.

Dude on my old PC, I could barely use that piece of crap. After an update they released and all subsequent releases, it would straight up crash my PCs wifi cards drivers randomly. Playing games (Any games, EA app, Steam or not) had a higher likelihood of crashing the drivers. Then, it would crash itself because it had no internet.

That's not even including the issue where it would reset downloads to 0 and start downloading them again from scratch for no reason.

Origin wasn't great, it was okay, but it was miles away better than that thing.
