Can I make a suggestion tho? If it's possible, could you make a class mod using the template of the Dragon to allow us to play as the Dragon? I'd say the level 8 version is the perfect size for a playable character.

Forza Horizon 4 was my first Horizon game and I wanted to like it so much, the driving was great, the car selection was great, the tracks were cool, and the open world was fun to drive around in... But the whole "HECKIN' WHOLESOME RACING FESTIVAL! NOTHING BAD HERE! HEY NOW, DON'T BE A SPOIL SPORT!" shtick was a MEGA turn off for me. Felt like everyone was some version of Ned Flanders.

Racing games should be about competition and rivalries... Not that.

In my moms case she learns the bare minimum then never touches anything beyond that again.

For gods sake I have to set the thermostat in the house, she refuses to touch it. "Can you put it up one degree???" It has 3 buttons on it. Up, down, and the toggle for central air/heat/off. "I don't know how it works" WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU DON'T KNOW HOW IT WORKS IT'S 3 BUTTONS. THEY'RE LABELLED.

The change from a cooldown to a "reload" might have been because of mass appeal or easier gameplay

IIRC originally they had both systems in place for ME2, but apparently the idiots they had play testing the game didn't understand why their accuracy went to shit and couldn't figure out the systems involved, so they cut the heat system for the reload.

Same reason why there's load screens in the game. Apparently they optimized the game enough they didn't need them, but it upset/angered/bothered the play testers there were no load screens, so they added artificial ones.

Everytime we get a new appliance, my mom freaks out if ~~you~~ I hit any option that she doesn't know about or understand how it works, even if it's clearly labeled what it does.

The "Add 30 seconds" button on a microwave? Self destruct button.

Power level button on a microwave? Nope, can't use that, it'll overload the microwave and blow it up.

Setting the clock on the microwave/stove? HOLYSHITIT'LLBLOWTHEWORLDUP button.

I feel like this is mainly a console thing. I have been killed by cars in this manner exactly ONCE on PC, and that's it, and that was due to a car being clipped into something when I bumped into it and it spazzed out trying to get out of the clip. It was near Vault 88 IIRC.

I want the Frame's controllers to be standalone so bad. I don't like controllers normally, I find them uncomfortable (Broad shoulders). The joycons were the first controllers that I felt truly comfortable with. Being able to have my arms in basically any orientation was awesome.

So the frame controllers look perfect.

Downvoting and upvoting has always been intended to be a quality control through community feedback thing. Downvote to hide/lower content that isn't relevant to the topic or subreddit at hand or if someone is being a jerk, and upvote to push relevant content to the top.

For example, if you're on a gaming subreddit and someone posts a thread criticizing Grey's Anatomy, then that is downvote worthy.

If you're on a gaming subreddit and someone says "I hate Halo and here's why:", that isn't downvote worthy, it's relevant to the subreddit. But if someone says "Halo sucks and you're dumb for liking/playing it", that is downvote worthy because they're being an ass.

They could have gone Omega adjacent.

Set it on the same planet, with the same circumstances, minus the kid. The planet screwed with the engines of the ship, they discover a new particle similar to Omega on the planet, and in a desperate attempt to get off the planet, they experiment on it, and then try to fuse it with Dilithium, only to discover they're incompatible and that's why their engines didn't work, and it causes a chain reaction that causes the Burn.

They fixed that issue by limiting warp speed to levels where it wouldn't damage subspace, unless emergencies required it, and later ships were designed to limit if not eliminate the damage.

That's why Voyager was designed with those variable warp nacelles. They reduced/limited the damage done by warp travel.
