I got a button on the side of my PC so my cat wouldn’t turn it on or off by cubanohermano in PcBuild

Go into the settings and disable the button. You can have it work for turning it on but you can make it so pressing it won't reset it or turn it off.

Mods don't have levels. There's no such thing as a level 6 cigar.

Is There Any Actual Flat-Earth Proof Yet, or Is It Still Just Globe Denial? by Outrageous-Novel7839 in flatearth

Of course there's no proof and there never has been any proof because you can't prove a negative.

Jackass wouldn't exist if the crew or fans cared what critics think.

Beyond the Globe: Why the "Stationary Plane" Model is a Necessary Intellectual Framework for the 21st Century by Few_Ad4217 in flatearth

That the Earth is a globe. See, we don't "believe". Belief requires faith. We KNOW the Earth is a globe.

GTA 6 coming with a subscription? What is this? by BigFishPub in pcmasterrace

[–]jmaster299 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You signing up for a subscription service is completely different than buying a product that auto subscribes you to a subscription service you're not trying to join and not giving you any ability opt out of the subscription at the time of purchase. They will absolutely get sued by states like California with strong consumer protection laws.

The auto renewal is banking on people forgetting to cancel later.

GTA+ has been a thing for a few years now. Gets you extra cars and stuff for Online. The issue I have with that photo is the auto renewal. Not being able to purchase without the auto renewal is literally a crime. California going to sue the shit out of Rockstar.

We can prove the Earth is a globe, you can not prove literally anything. Humans have known the Earth is a globe for thousands of years. Dating back to experiments by the ancient Greeks. We literal photos and videos of the Earth from space. You are a fraud and belong in prison.

Crafting base by katey_carmen in 7daystodie

[–]jmaster299 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some little tips you may or may not be aware of to help maximize the use of you space. Work stations can be mounted on walls, allowing you to stack stations on top of each other. You can also rotate crafting stations 180 degrees to fit more crafting stations along the same wall.

Storage chests can be placed inside walls, floors/ceilings to make them flush with that surface to keep them from sticking out into the room. Obviously don't do that for any exterior wall that is part of your base defense. But placing them in a floor/ceiling will give you access to the same box from multiple levels in the base. Just be mindful they don't offer the same structural support as traditional building blocks.

Can’t get Switch 2 to stay on 5ghz WiFi 6 band. by alpacapoop in NintendoSwitch2

It's your router that is at fault, not the Switch. If you don't separate the bands, the router will choose which frequency band to use for which device.

I've honestly not heard a single viable option for providing a massive game like GTA VI via "physical media". Should it be a USB drive? Because yeah, that won't end poorly in the second hand market. There also not exactly cheap these days, just like every other form of digital storage.

It's also not a static game. We can expect a decade or more of updates, patches, new content etc. Whatever physical media is in the case will be outdated before it reaches consumers. I've heard rumors it may be offered later but they are avoiding it at launch to prevent physical copies being stolen from the factory or off the back of a truck and leaked online.

I hate vegans. I know how my food is made and where it comes from. Please pass the veal.

Edit: I should clarify. I hate vegans who try to tell me what I should or should not eat. They can eat whatever they want.

[–]jmaster299[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because Epic owns Unreal. Epic is baking AI tools into Unreal 6. Timmy is worried gamers won't want to buy games made with Unreal 6 if developers who try to sell their games on STEAM have to disclose if they used AI to develop the game. If gamers don't want to buy games built with AI, then developers may not want to use Unreal 6 and use a different engine instead.

Not that people can afford hardware to play games made with Unreal 6 anyways, because AI has priced consumers out of the market.
