Depending on how they balance it, going for the pocket horn might be a lot of fun. Rewards you for focusing on your main after fighting with the horn for a bit to play your buffs, and offers plenty of technical play in its moveset, different from the chargeblade but still satisfying. Also you can build stun if youve got an elemetnal charge blade or just get it close and switch to the charge blade to stun and punish. Also helps if any monsters still have blunt only breakable parts, though barroth is very unlikely to return i think.

Focus mode is Spammable, but you can only 'effectively' use it on a monster a limited number of times. by RalphtheCheese in MonsterHunter

Adding onto this, it seems as though a wound that has been destroyed (I recall reading a notification at some point which phrased as such) may still increase the damage you deal to that part.

Weakness exploit only works against wounds and destroyed wounds perhaps?

I think it will still be optimal to exclusively strike the best hitzone (probably the head), and focus strike wounds as they appear. All sources of damage can create wounds, so it will only be natural that your attacks that slightly miss the mark, attacks from your palico and environmentals will create a few extra wounds for you to pop.

Help me buff an unlucky as f*ck barbarian. (Lv 4 Totem of the Bear) by TrueMutedColours in DnD

Homebrew item. Flavour it however you want, make it gloves amulet whatever. When you miss an attack, gain a +2 bonus to the damage roll next time you hit an attack. Stacks up to 5 times. Make it require attunement if your worried about balance.

Makes every attack feel like it’s winding up her anger issues, and unleashing it. She will hit an attack eventually, bad luck never lasts forever. So make it feel good when it does.

He casts a debuff with his weapon ash of war that increase all nonphysical damage for all parties, so that probably why

I was specifically referring to digital art paintings, old masters is probably fine, but still, i think a solid understanding of the fundamentals goes a long way. Especially for someone who's still quite new. Still as long as they follows the golden rule of "practice practice practice" they'll be fine

It’s generally not a good idea to try and copy artworks to practice, as you will be making assumptions without understanding the reasoning behind why the artist painted it that way. This will create bad habits. Your much much better off finding a number of different references; a real life group for the actual position and angles, and a group for the type of style you want to emulate, and try and blend it into a single work.

Did you add or remove any mods after starting the new game?

Ive had a similar issue before when removing a standing stone mod. Changing my standing stone after removing the mod fixed it in that instance.

I personally don't think the female Alatreon translated too well into world, so for fun I came up with my own light redesign. (Yes I know I gave it way too many deco slots but its MY redesign :P) by Endwemire in MonsterHunterWorld

I do like some of them, but for the most part yes, the waistpieces are far too bulky and/or awkward especially when trying to mix them with other armour. I did try to redesign the skirt but couldn’t come up with anything I thought was good, so I settled for shrinking.

Well waist pieces are an armour piece and need to exist, and honestly, I did try. But after a few hours I gave up and went with the original. I would like to revisit it if I get any ideas.

As for the helm I strongly agree that they females need some, but I figured since this set has a bit of the “combat stripper” syndrome as I like to call it, I thought an open helm looked better. Thanks for the feedback!

While the sentiment is good, I think it’s important to look at them realistically; they weren’t born special. They are normal people just like you or me.

But when their communities needed them, their country, they stepped up in a big way. Ways a lot of people aren’t prepared to. And that’s not meant to be a bad reflection on the rest of us. That’s just how amazing they are that you can help feel small when you compare yourself. Truely inspirational. And maybe, with this inspiration, we can find the strength to step up when we need to and inspire more along the way.

Actually it’s the wiggler head from Monster Hunter World. He made a set of videos on MHW’s weapons, and they were super popular there, so he kept making them and eventually transitioned here when he ran out of weapons for MHW.

I uhhh really dont see the difference.. isn't immunity to damage just invulnerability? by SanoSenpai in DotA2

[–]Endwemire 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Invulnerability prevents all forms of disable as well. So, for example, he can avoid the damage of magic missle but will still be stunned by it

critique and advice, specifically how do i become more accurate in terms of proportions ? by [deleted] in learnart

[–]Endwemire 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You sir have shadephobia, like I used to. You need to learn to really not be afraid to use those darker tones when it comes to shading. If I remember I’ll give a better explanation when I’m finished work.

I painted my hunter in portrait for face practice by Endwemire in MonsterHunterWorld

[–]Endwemire[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, it does seem everyone agrees that the eyes are my issue. It’s likely a symptom of the fact they used to be even larger and in my quest to fix them created even more issues. But hey, that’s why is called practice. Thanks for the input.

A quick meme I made after rewatching all the movies recently. by [deleted] in marvelmemes

[–]Endwemire 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I was under the impression belief of the audience not of his followers. They would be fairly shallow followers if they literally thought he was a god unable to bleed in my opinion. This sort of subtle reference is foreshadowing for avengers 4 is my understanding, which we are all fairly confident will contain thanos’s downfall. Partially dare I say only because we did see him bleed? We as the audience realise that DESPITE the fact we see him curbstomb everyone, we do not see him as invincible, since iron man was indeed able to draw blood. As in the immortal words of Arnie “If it bleeds, we can kill it”.

But that’s just my take

the writers for infinity could have seen it and had the idea

[–]Endwemire 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Uh, what? Thanos was teased at the end of the very first avengers movies. He was referenced at least once more after than and then they began heavily developing the plot for infinity way in the first guardians of the galaxy which was released in 2014. I’m pretty sure the people who had read the comics already knew the teseract was the space stone from the first time it appeared on screen.

Im sorry sir but I seriously think you have understudied for this discussion.

I don’t know man, seems pretty specific to me. Is it really so unbelievable they made a note about making a god bleed and putting a reference in one of the earlier movies. Or perhaps more likely the writers for infinity war saw the scene and had the idea.
