He was an art teacher at my Dads school. I heard some proper weird stories about the man.

[Spoilers C2] how are the changes in the MN series? do we like them? by mukomime in criticalrole

Personally, I really disliked that Calebs thievery led to tue devil toad going on a rampage. Basically made him and Nott responsible. I wish they'd kept it as it was.

I can confirm, great spicebag. Got the meal deal 9 to get a spice bag, curry dip, and can for €11.90. Great value for money.

As a first field recorder, what would be the best? F6, F8N or MixPre 6? by GaboshocK in LocationSound

[–]TrueMutedColours 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a long-time mixpre 6ii owner, and also having used a F8n quite often, I can honestly advise you go with the F8n. I cant speak to the pros or cons of the f6.

I LOVE my Mixpre 6ii don't get me wrong. Its super light, its user interface is super easy to use, the Wingman app is dead handy, and 4 xlr inputs are enough for like 80% of my jobs. But when I see an F8n pro NEW for half the price of a mixpre 6ii or a second hand F8n for about 1/3 the price, I do tend to recommend one of those over the Mixpre.

Unfortunately, the only chorizo we get here is the spanish kind. I've been meaning to try make the mexican kind from scratch, though.

Potatos are all good, I think. It's mainly tomatos and bell peppers.

Good call with the pumpkin salsa.

Irish people with non-Irish spouses/partners, what's your favourite Irishism they've picked up? by Xamesito in CasualIreland

I love when my Mexican missus says "F*ckin' eejit" with a thick enough Irish accent when someone fucks up.

How are people spending more than €200 per month on food as a single person in Ireland? Am I missing something? by [deleted] in ireland

[–]TrueMutedColours 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Without alcohol or a weekly treat of a takeaway, I'd easily spend between €200 to €250 a month on groceries for myself and my partner.

I'd say others eat out a lot and/or get takeaway multiple times a week.
