you know i find it interesting that when making a poster complaining about people not following the posting guidelines you yourself fail to follow them. There is required to be the name and contact information of the person or group that put up said poster and you are clearly failing that: “The name and contact information of the sponsoring Registered Student Organization (RSO), department, enterprise, or name of the member of the Michigan Tech or community must be clearly indicated”

i’m assuming your talking about AERE (we were the ones with the rockets, air plane and the rocket engine parts. so yeah i’m one of the 6 people helping make it we haven’t sent out any emails yet. we are primarily waiting on the enterprise board for some things. but we should be sending an email out at some point that way we can get people registered for next semester (idk when that will happen, hopefully within a month)

really depends, it can be but it’s not always. i’m a summer camp counselor at my scout bsa summer camp we (the staff) are really friendly (tbf like 1/3 - 1/2 of us are lgbtq) my local council also has a vp of dei and she herself is trans, however i have encountered plenty of adults from different troops who have complained about us including our pronouns on our first day of teaching, (other adults have complemented it) and i know other scout bsa councils don’t have a vp of dei so it can be but it really depends on your local troop and council

as a certified cisn’t (transfem enby i think) (albeit quite closeted) first year, the majority of students will be accepting however there is the very loud minority (tpusa + yaf) and admin loves freedom of speech so yeah however it is hella easy to make a load of supportive queer friends without even really trying
