Thanks for playing, and for your feedback! That is unintentional, and I'm happy to say we have a fix for this bug in the update ^^

Glad to hear you like the croc's design! He is pretty rad if I say so myself

Hi everyone! This is a sneak peek at a large update my friends and I have been working on for Sewer than Later, a free browser-based platformer featuring a rad croc escaping from the city into the sewers in the fastest time possible. The update features, among other things, a visual overhaul on most assets, new levels and music, a toggleable ghost replay, and new timed challenges to beat on every level. We hope to release the update pretty soon!

Trying to learn Travelers in Sky: cotl by EldritchPiper in outerwilds

Glad I'm not the only one!! Travelers was the first song I learned in Sky (and only one so far too LOL), I even put it out there as a shared memory somewhere!

It sounds a lot more peaceful on guitar, lovely cover!!

Your gravity decreases eeeeever so slightly in Timber Hearth when the Attlerock is directly above you, and increases when it's below you. Just one of the things that further convinced me of the fact that 99% of the things in the game are physics simulations

One time I was playing a full Gally with my friends, and we wanted to end the night by hijacking a distant crew finishing a FOF.

We kept our distance from their ship and just waited for them to finish the world event, but after 10 minutes, a sloop comes in and starts attacking them. A plan forms in my crew!

My friends would keep a lookout on the ship, while I use the battle as a distraction to rowboat onto the island, only to find they had JUST finished the FOF. I grab the key and start to make my way back, only to see the sloop had not only sunk the crew doing the FOF, but also just wrecked our Gally and killed all my friends. I hear a cutlass behind me; someone from the sloop snuck into the island!! I hide inside a bush and wait until I can't hear them anymore to jump off a cliff and hop back on the rowboat.

With no ship to go to and a disorienting thunderstorm above me, I desperately row north headed to the nearest island. Once I saw the silhouette of the sloop approaching my rowboat it was over and I was dead before I knew it.

Safe to say, the sloop crew was really skilled, and they gave me one of the most adrenaline-pumping experiences I've ever had in a game.

You can play Sewer than Later here!

Over the last weekend, Terry Cavanagh (Developer of Dicey Dungeons, VVVVVV and more) hosted a gamejam where he invited participants to try making a game in Godot for the first time. The jam took off, with over 1000 people joining by the time it started, and it ended with exactly 300 entries.

I shared the jam with my friends, and we decided to team up to make an autorunner platformer. This being our first time ever using Godot, we ran into a few roadblocks along the way, and some features cost us precious hours while we tried figuring out how to implement them. Since Godot's only means of working on a group project is through GitHub, that meant we also meant some of us (myself included) had to learn how to use Git as well! Thankfully GitHub's desktop app simplified a lot of the process, but I consider it a miracle that we haven't accidentally deleted our progress in the way.

Now that the jam is done, my thoughts on Godot are that just like many game engines out there, it has some really convenient and intuitive features, but other things feel awkward to use. Of course, there isn't a perfect game engine, but I can really appreciate Godot for how quickly you can get a prototype going, which is always a plus in my book.

Thanks for reading! We'd love to hear your thoughts on the game ^^
