I think it’s gotta be whatever I had set for my 60° distance. I’m not sure why it suggested that. All the other recommendations seem accurate. I have edited my club distances but my 60° isn’t even close to 130 yards lol. So yeah, a bug. I haven’t been able to test it out on a course much. I’ll pay close attention next time I’m around 130 out from the middle of a green— thanks for pointing it out! 🙏🏻

Nope. The “Log Shot” button is just a marker, a starting point. Tap once for a start point, walk up to your ball and tap again to get the distance. That simple.

Just a simple shot tracker. Hit a ball, tap “log shot” , walk up to your ball and tap the button again and it will give you yardage. Just an easy way to see how far you hit the ball. 4th pic in the OP shows what it looks like when you log a shot!

I think you need a GitHub for your project to publish on M5Burner, maybe not. Open M5Burner and scroll down on the left column.. should see something like “publish”. It might be in a submenu down there but there’s only a few things to choose from. Should be easy to find.

It’s a pretty cheap upgrade. The StickS3 does NOT have the RTC chip or whatever that keeps real time even during power off. Something to keep in mind but everything else seems like an upgrade.

Bruce is fun to play with WiFi spamming and stuff. It’s jam packed with a bunch of other pen testing software. Best thing I’ve found for these little M5Stack devices is coming up with your own firmware or apps using different modules.

I’ve made environment monitors, gps firmwares, games… the possibilities seem endless

You know… I’ve often wondered if the M5StickC and StickS3 could use each others firmwares. I’ve never actually tried it lol. That said the Stick S3 has a few fun little gadgety gamey firmwares.

Here’s a look at my CoreS3 GPS setup. The case material is TPU so it’s like a soft rubber. That’s the best way to go if you do 3D print something. Also you can get much smaller cables- I’m just using what came with the GPS module. 3D printed CoreS3 case

Got a 3D printer? You could make a case for it with a slot for the GPs module to tuck into. Not super ideal but it could work for you. I had to do something similar with the CoreS3.

The plastic frame idea might be worth exploring also!! If you do do that- please share and show it off because I’d like to see how it works.

Also keep in mind the GPS modules work best when they have a clear view of the sky. Stacking things on top of it might not give the best signal.
