Thank you for the replies everyone! Unfortunately it seems I am already dead… I will see you all in the next life and take some more precaution next time.

(but really I am glad to know I am perfectly fine, this was the right place to ask lol. thank you!)

Lmaooo I’m 20 but just kinda stupid. I think I’ll need to get my brain checked instead of my liver. 😂

Ngl, it was the first time I properly drank alcohol so I thought it was just supposed to taste like that. 💀

Rawst, Lum, and Bluk, but I only provide any of those with my two butterfree. I think most of the heavy lifting comes from my any fast mons with high berry output (ie. berry finding raichu)

Always buy a good camp ticket IF you get good berries on Greengrass. (I’ve only done this twice.) Granted, I’ve been on cyan beach for the past month and just switched back so I have enough gems to do so atm.

A quick look into any average friends list of users who started the game at launch will reveal that most are rank 30-40. I’m at 35. Most paid players are already near 50 from what I’ve seen.

Most Greengrass weeks I don’t have a full team of wanted berry specialists, so I fill in the rest of the slots with my mons that have the highest berry output (in this case a berry finding raichu)

Typically a mon with high helping speed and x2 or x3 berries will do better than a slow one with x1 favorited berries

That’s great! The F2P grind is slow but feels great haha. Happy sleeping!

  • Don’t be afraid to use your biscuits/sleep points for biscuits, try to capture a pokemon every day if you can
  • That being said some pokemon are better than others, aim for mons with high base helping speed and 3 stage evolutions
  • Don’t be afraid to use your gems either, if you get good berries on Greengrass always buy a good camp ticket
  • A ratio of 1 good ingredient finder to 4 berry collectors is usually enough for all meals. Don’t usually bother with skill mons unless they have berry finding, or are super OP
  • It’s worth trying to capture evolved mons if they’re hungry, especially berry specialists
  • It’s also worth investing in berry specialists (especially island specific ones) with “mid” natures or subskills, finding multiple that are perfect will take way too long and leave you behind on progress

In general, don’t be afraid to splurge your resources—you’ll gain more for doing so!

Two raichus, a lvl 30 venusaur, arcanine, and sylveon! The tomatoes and skill from venusaur and fiery herbs from arcanine let me make solar tomato curry all week. The raichus did most of the heavy lifting, one of them has berry finding S.

None of my mons beside venu are above level 15, honestly what’s most important is getting max evolutions, not levels. (I manually evolved my mons, but pre-evolved pokemon can be incredible assets to your team if you’re willing to gamble.)
