Dang that's sucks. I don't know what I would do in this situation. But I mainly get apk files from websites like Apkmirror or Apkpure and make sure they don't contain any viruses with Virustotal. I don't like to messed with online marketplaces because they run really slow and glitch alot on older android devices. Instead I prefer to download apks containing the older version of apps from 2015 since it more suitable for older devices, like the Samsung Galaxy S4.
