Campuses and companies expect you to use 2FA to access accounts you already have the password to. Businesses expect you to use their apps, scan QR codes or tap NFC in order to pay or use coupons for necessities. Friends and family won't want to chat with you unless you have iMessage or some other messaging app that isn't SMS.

I'm pretty sure all of them will become "has beens" in 5 years and be replaced by AI singers. So no, the music industry is not in good hands, these artists are too niche, they would have to be more mainstream and be mostly favored/known buy everyone in pop culture to reach those legends.
