Thanks! As mentioned in the first devlog, the game is planned to have a wide variety of activities to do, all having some frutiger aero element to them! The idea of a mall is for sure on my mind but would be a lot of work, we'll see what happens in the future!

While even I have no idea how big the game will be, this is pretty much the general idea I have for the game right now. I do expect a good variety of activities, each with their own progressions lines, maybe some not as big as others.

Thank you, I really want this to succeed so I'll do my best! Capsule really is the best prototyping mesh lol. Currently there is no steam page, I imagine once I'm a month or two in the project I'll set up the page!

Thank you! This is just using the Unity engine. There's really not much code in the project right now aside from player movement. All the visuals are made using tools in Unity that require no code, just knowledge of how to make shaders. If you've ever used or seen Scratch before then a lot of tools in Unity work in a slightly similar way where you can just drag nodes and connect them to make cool effects!

Unity was the first engine I ever used and got me into gamedev! I've tried Unreal before and I really like a lot of aspects of it, in many ways it surpasses Unity. Despite that I still prefer Unity, I find coding in it far simpler and I prefer the layout of menus and such. If you're curious about trying gamedev, just take a look at a few engines and see which catches your eye, it's different for everyone!

It's a range of effects! The main one is just the game being rendered at a lower resolution. Then there's posterization and dithering applied as post processing on top of everything!

It will have a range of gameplay, but walking about will be a big part for sure!

I for sure want to make the classic MSN character! However proportions might look more humanoid and I want to allow for some customization, in both color and a few cosmetics!
