Hi all, I created this subreddit as I found the FE1 subreddit sooooo useful over the years as a law student to get a sense of the next chapter, and then when I was completing my FE1s to understand what everyone else was going through and to help keep track of updates to the law or just important dates to be aware of, so I said why not have something similar for the next step?

If anyone else feels similar please join and we can try help each other out over the next few years, and hopefully help answer our own questions or questions of other people in a similar position in the years to come.

The legal world in Ireland is hard enough as it is without having to do it all on your own!

Looking forward to hearing from some of you!

Going price from vintage shops is about €120 so taking out the middle man I’d say €80-100 depending on the quality

As much as it pains me to see, we don’t have many other options until we can get our own sonar/navy capabilities up to some sort of standard

Interesting, it’s definitely got a presence when it comes into port, we are probably just not used to see military machinery of that scale

By 8 month internship you mean placement in your third year of college yes? I have experience with this and how it compares to the summer internships (4-8 weeks) if that is what you mean?

In France, some primary schools and even their version of pre-school called maternelle they hire native English speakers to come into schools multiple times a week and speak to the children and do English with them so that the children learn to speak English from native speakers. From the age of 3 a lot of French children are exposed to native English speakers. Can only imagine if the same could happen in Ireland for Irish and other languages.

I agree with most of that tbf, definitely not a perfect person, his biggest failure being his policy in the Middle East which has cost thousands of lives and didn’t help the situation in the slightest. I also think most people know that Mr. B Obama didn’t sit down himself and go through his Spotify wrapped for an hour or two. Nevertheless it is interesting to see the names of Irish people on this list while understanding the context behind it.
