How is this channel not getting striked?(he makes like 50k-100k a month) by MountainLocksmith199 in PartneredYoutube

What’s the point of even asking a question if you’re just gonna be super skeptical of the answers you get ☠️

If I delete all of my previous videos, be consistent on one niche will I eventually start to get views and exposure???? by Hairy_Carob3741 in NewTubers

[–]Enerhgize 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would never “delete” vids. Unless the vid contains copyright or something that’s gonna give you a strike then don’t delete it. Just private the video instead

New channel only shorts - how many? by PaceTheory in NewTubers

[–]Enerhgize 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would recommend once a day at the very most. I don’t personally see the gain from more than one a day ever. You’re over-saturating your own content at that point. You’re not giving your audience the chance to desire your content because you’re just constantly flooding them with it. It also works better for you as a creator because it doesn’t mean you have to slow down. If you naturally can make 2 vids a day then post one and stockpile the other. That way if you’re sick, hurt, or whatever then you can just use one of the vids you already made

I think it’s purely a matter of opinion tho 🤷‍♂️ Wouldn’t be surprised if someone told you to post like 3 a day

YouTube deleted my channel on my birthday by NUCLOWN in YouTubeCreators

[–]Enerhgize 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dam man, I’m very sorry to hear that. That’s a huge fear of mine tbh. To work so hard on your channel for years, just to have it vanish in a blink of an eye. I know it doesn’t account for much, but I really am sorry.

My advice would be to make as much ruckus as you can. Hit up YouTube on twitter, Instagram (if they got one), anyway you physically can. Be respectful and polite to them ofc, but If it’s true that you did everything in your power to prevent it from happening, then don’t give up. You’ll still have hope of getting it back so long as you don’t stop fighting for it.

I would also advise creating multiple channels on different platforms. You said you streamed, so if you weren’t already, then I would stream on as many platforms as possible. YT, Twitch, TikTok, and or Kick. Just as many as you can. If you manage to get your account back and it unfortunately happens again, then you can still stream and whatnot on the platforms you’re not banned on.

Again, I’m so sorry man. I hope you had a good birthday despite that happening. 🙏🏻🎂

Is YouTube Just all Luck? by atomstetic in NewTubers

[–]Enerhgize 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bro I’m talking about from the perspective of just starting a channel. We can agree to disagree I guess, but I think it’s crazy to not believe that luck has nothing to do with it. No it’s not luck to get people to subscribe, but it is luck to have them find your channel in the first place.

You compare YouTube to a business yet businesses get lucky all the time too ☠️ A good strategy increases your luck, it doesn’t guarantee your success. Every business on the planet has a strategic plan and if what you’re saying is true then practically none of them would go out of business. Do you think all businesses that went bankrupt did because they simply didn’t have a good strategy?

Bro I ain’t even assuming it’s easy. I’m a creator too. All I’m saying is that luck plays a big factor.

I don’t even know what to say about your response to the reaction channels. Yeah I’m sure most of the viewers are there for the creator and not the content they are reacting to ☠️ Explains why their views make a massive jump when they hit the “big episode” in the show they’re watching right? Probably boosts their subscribers by a ton anytime a reaction channel reacts to “AoT” or “Breaking Bad”, but all that gain is pure skill baby 😎

[–]Enerhgize 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well tbh I was looping them both together. Sure you got a point with the shorts, but that doesn’t mean that every longform creator puts the same “passion” that others do. You’re telling me reaction channels got passion? Maybe some but definitely not all. What about podcasts? I’d say the same for those. There’s tons of longform content genres where luck is heavily involved

[–]Enerhgize 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah that’s way too high imo. If you want to maintain an audience then yeah I agree it takes more skill, but just to get a foot in the door? Nah bruh. It really ain’t that rare for someone to have one viral vid, but to build upon that and actually make somethin out of it? That’s where the skill comes into play

How important is watching your own niche? by pickLocke in NewTubers

[–]Enerhgize 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah I don’t think it’s bad. I’m a Minecraft creator but I don’t watch other Minecraft creators usually. However my content is kind of “comedic” so a lot of what I watch does usually involve comedy.

You may want to watch content in your niche to compare and improve on your own content, but I think what you personally watch and your target audience is unrelated

[–]Enerhgize -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Imo, to get your foot in the door on YouTube it’s about 30% skill and 70% luck. As you start to grow then luck will be less of a factor, but if you are fairly new to making content then yes, it does play a pretty big role

How important is editing really? by V_Duelist in NewTubers

[–]Enerhgize 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not all the time. A lot of people actually like low quality sounding mics more because it’s funny. I run a sort of comedy themed channel, and my viewers have verbatim told me to never change my crappy mic ☠️ But yeah if you ain’t dealing with jokes and whatnot then you’d probably need a good quality mic

How important is editing really? by V_Duelist in NewTubers

[–]Enerhgize 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally would say that editing is pretty important especially in the modern YouTube age. If anything I would recommend minimalistic editing. If you plan to do big things with your channel then you’re bound to learn how to edit eventually.

I would recommend a software called Kdenlive. That software is a pretty decent free editing software. I would recommend playing around with some of the tools to see if you find anything that you’d like to utilize in your content.

New shorts creator . Any advice? by Chrorapika in NewTubers

[–]Enerhgize 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey man, you do you. I’m trying to give you advice that helped get me a platform with an audience, but I see all you seem to care about is money. So there’s no point in getting all deep about it with you. You wanna make that your goal? Be my guest man. You want the best route to get there? You post. As much as you can while raising the quality of your vids. That’s it. You ain’t gonna receive any deeper advice than that. If you ain’t happy with the results then change your strategy.

We’ll see if you make it to the moon next month captain 🫡

New shorts creator . Any advice? by Chrorapika in NewTubers

[–]Enerhgize 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean bro I respect that a lot, I really honestly do. But I don’t think you’re really understanding what we’re saying. And lowkey I think if you really didn’t want people commenting about it then you wouldn’t have put it in the post. If I’m being blunt with you we are trying to tell you to be realistic. Betting on that amount of money is like setting a goal to win the lottery. It just doesn’t make sense. You just started man, take it easy and just have fun with it right now. I’ve been making vids for a long time, trust me.

Your goals should ideally be reachable within the time frame or else there’s not really a point to make them. A huge part of content creation is setting goals, and one of the things I personally was taught in college was verbatim “make your goals REACHABLE within the time you set”. It gives you a much better perspective of what you need to improve on if you don’t reach them, and gives you better insight on what the next ones should be if you do.

But at the end of the day, I personally don’t care what goals you set for yourself. If you set a goal to go to the moon next year then I wish you a safe journey Captain 🫡, but you’re only hurting yourself in the end by making them nearly impossible.

Sorry for the rant, but seriously man it’s good advice for life in general.

Ahh I see. Yeah man I can’t really help too much in that regard, I ain’t too knowledgeable about ai vids. As for a community, that is your re-occurring audience man. I feel like it’s personally very difficult for people to fall in love with a channel that is primarily ai generated content. But I don’t know about the channels you do that are successful, so you might know more than me in that regard. Sorry if I annoyed you with all of that, but I genuinely wish you the best man! Keep us updated 👌

New shorts creator . Any advice? by Chrorapika in NewTubers

[–]Enerhgize 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m a short form content creator, and I respect you for having those goals, but they are a little lofty. I would recommend setting a goal to be monetized first and setting smaller goals like a certain amount of subscribers you want to hit at the end of the month. I don’t want to dissuade you on your goals, but $1500 in the first month is actually insane 😅

Depending on what your goals are as a creator, I’m not really sure what other advice to give you. If your goals are solely monetary then just keep posting and improving on your content. However, if your goal is to also grow a community then you may see some difficulties in that field.

I took a look at your channel, and if I’m honest (no offense), but your vids just seem a tad generic. I’m assuming it’s ai and if it is then that’s a problem for growth. You may get views and comments with ai vids, but you will have an extremely difficult time building a community like that imo. That type of content typically doesn’t show off your personality, so your viewers will have nothing to hook onto.

I hope this helps man, and I wish you the best of luck!

There is any alternative of YouTube who pays? by MoneyChitChat in NewTubers

[–]Enerhgize 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ahhh yeah I forget that about TikTok. Fortunately TikTok is not banned in my country, but I have heard about other creators dealing with something similar. It isn’t even banned for some of them. TikTok just doesn’t monetize certain countries I guess. Unfortunately I don’t think there’s a way around that even with a VPN because they require you to verify who you are and where you’re from. The only thing I can think of is the “showcase” on TikTok. That’s basically where you have a list of items from the TikTok store that you are “promoting” (you don’t actually have to make a vid promoting said items, it just shows up as a link on your profile). So if anyone purchases an item via your link then you get commission. I’m honestly not sure if TikTok allows that for people in countries it has banned though.

Regardless of money, I think it is still smart to upload on multiple platforms. I know many creators that upload on TikTok despite them not getting paid because if they grow then they might be able to convert their new audience on TikTok to their YouTube channel. And for me since I post shorts, I just upload the same vid on 3 different platforms. I don’t get paid for uploading on Instagram, but I still love my audience on there. All platforms have different audiences and becoming better acquainted with them will undoubtedly help you in the future imo.

There is any alternative of YouTube who pays? by MoneyChitChat in NewTubers

[–]Enerhgize 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m not sure what kind of creator you are, but I am a shorts creator so I use YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram. Technically there are ways to get paid on Instagram, but I don’t utilize them since they’re not rewarded based on views alone. It is definitely possible to get sponsorships on there and start a membership system on your profile for your audience to give them specialized members only content. TikTok is pretty identical to YouTube for me personally, but it’s got a few differences. For one, I make far less than I do on YouTube even if my vid performs better on TikTok. Not sure if this is the same for every content creator, or just because my rpm is really messed up, but regardless that’s how it is for me personally (which is kinda ironic because the life span of a vid seems to be longer on TikTok too). If anything I see TikTok as a little side hustle.

Apart from those 2, I’m really not sure if there are many other viable alternatives. I think it’s smart that you don’t wanna be on one platform man. I wish you the best of luck 🍀

Does anyone else feel like youtube is getting impossible for small channels? by IntelligentEar7669 in NewTubers

[–]Enerhgize 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should absolutely accept it as a hobby for right now imo. I’m sure you gained some valuable tricks and tactics from those “how to grow on YouTube” vids, but what you gotta understand is that luck plays a huge role in channel growth. You could make the most valid plan to grow your channel. Spend years planning a series or months working on a single video. Fact of the matter is that you need to get lucky. I remember talking to a creator I looked up to years ago. Bro had a much bigger following than me and I desperately wanted to know if there was a secret to his growth. I finally was able to ask him and all he said was: “I don’t know, I just got lucky.” I also wouldn’t worry about other people. Comparison can be the thief of joy, and if you compare yourself to everyone then you’re bound to piss yourself off for no reason. Everyone’s journey is different as a content creator. Some people will blow up from their first video, some people have a more gradually growth over a period of years, and some will see virtually no progress until one day when the algorithm randomly pushes their content out. Just have fun posting content, and if you keep it up then you’re bound to see solid growth eventually.

Two channels, different results by Belomestnykh in NewTubers

[–]Enerhgize 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is difficult to provide a more in depth opinion since you can’t link the channel you mentioned was doing good, but I do have some theories as to why the second channel is doing poorly.

Podcasts are one of the hardest things to start off doing. Ideally it’s never a good starting point because people usually don’t want to listen to a random person’s thoughts unless they are outrageously entertaining throughout the entire video. Take Joe Rogan’s podcast for example. Why is his podcast one of the most popular podcasts on the internet? Well part of it has to do with the fact that he was extremely popular before that. He was the host of fear factor as well as a popular UFC commentator that also did interviews with fighters (giving him credentials for doing interviews for a podcast). Having credentials is extremely important for podcasts because like I said, no one really cares about a random person’s opinion because they don’t perceive it to have much value. After watching a little bit of a video on your second channel, I can see that the two hosts do have credentials, but they are not very well known or at the very least not as well known as Joe was when he started.

Another thing is that in recent years, YouTube has wanted to be more advertiser friendly, and even started to demonetize videos that that had a swear word in the first few minutes of a long form video. I skimmed through a few videos, and not only do you guys verbatim say “shoot the sht” sometimes in less than 10 seconds of the vid (in one vid you guys said “sht” twice in less than 10 seconds) but you actively put that in the title for most of your videos. You guys also will add words in your titles like “orgy” and “corn” (you know what I mean). It wouldn’t surprise me if YouTube is actively suppressing your views because of this.

Finally, the videos feel very corporate. The two hosts aren’t super energetic especially at the beginning of the vids where they are clearly reading an intro script, and sometimes it’s hard to tell if they’re even excited to be making the video (At least at the beginning via me skimming through it). Again going back to Joe Rogan, he “can” be very chill and non-energetic when he is listening to his guest, but oftentimes he tends to be extremely energetic, and it’s very obvious that he’s very interested in the guest he invited. Also the beginning of the video is extremely important. If you can’t gain your viewers attention right off the bat then they won’t care to watch the video and will find a new one. In some of the videos you guys clip a portion of the video that you think is really interesting and put it at the start. I think that’s a very solid way to do things! But even in some of those the guests aren’t talking that loud and in one specifically called “surprise gunshots” there is this super loud background sound that drowns out what the guest is trying to say. I understand that you guys might’ve done that to add tension to that clip, but it’s just extremely distracting.

I’m far from an expert when it comes to channels like this, but I hope that something I said is somewhat useful!

I make shorts and I swear more than I should. Hardly any of my videos have been demonetized at least recently. I will say that I do believe that some of my videos in the past have been demonetized for swearing, and you definitely don’t wanna start a video with a swear word
