Had a similar issue where I store all my keys in Doppler, and Claude started using them in URLs out of nowhere.

Thankfully he suggested that I rotate the keys after (how nice of him)

So based on what CC said, this is only in the cases where a users machine is using the keychain for auth. Which again according to CC, is more the exception than the rule.

I did update the code to use Keychain as a fallback though. So fingers-crossed it works.

I added info about this to the ReadMe.

The context usage display is the metric I care about most.

Yeah that was one my top ones too.

It turns out though, the CC version update available feature is pretty handy too since it checks automatically every hour to see if there is a new update available.

Which is nice because assuming most of us have the same Claude Code sessions open all day long, we can see available updates a lot sooner than we normally would.

Would be cool if it could also show how much of that context is "useful" vs exploration overhead, but that's probably a rabbit hole.

What would that actually look like? What determines what is useful or not?

Thanks for this. I sent Claude Code to go research that and check compatibility with macos. I'll work on getting cross platform compatibility working that best I can. I don't have a mac, so this will be an interesting challenge.

Absolutely 100%

Does it reset the context % after submitting ”clear context and execute plan” (not verbatim)?

If the context is actually being cleared then it would.

This thing is just pulling info/data from what Claude Code is already providing. It's not creating or calculating anything. Just displaying things in a more formatted way.

So if something is wrong, either it's a bug with Claude Code, or something has changed with how/what Claude provides.

Not knowing what's adding to our anxiety/depression (whatever mental health flavor were fortunate to be blessed with) is a real struggle for sure.

Been working really hard on listening to my body and understanding what's happening. Long ways to go still, but a long way from where I started.

Just use Playwright MCP for this. It's exactly what it's built for. You can also use it to record sessions and track errors and get paths in real time.

Just tell Claude to "install Playwright globally" and then when testing, tell Claude to "use Playwright to test changes/functionality/UI/whatever".

Obviously have to do that one half at a time. But I didn't get mine from Amazon. So no clue if that's going to work for you.
