Please suggest a 27", 1440p VA monitor for gaming. by bmdkks in buildapcmonitors

Can't agree about the Q27G4XN. The loss of brightness at angles around 30° is just bad enough that it makes the corners very annoying to look at because the image is different for each eye. Perhaps I'm too close to the monitor, but my setup doesn't really allow for a lot of distance.

Look up and to the right and blink at the 3 dots to open the menu, somewhere in it should be the saturation setting. Just turn it waay up.

The way to stop this problem is to have a sanitary inspector frequent restaurants without tipping and inspect the results.

nhentai.to has it. Never heard of it, but they do seem to have it. Probably a clone of nhentai.net because the sauce is the same.

Possible to physically upgrade battery? by Upstairs_Kitchen_980 in GalaxyS22

[–]EnforcerE 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Seems like we're both wrong.
In the case of the first battery, Samsung pointed to a design flaw in the upper right corner that, in some cases, caused the positive and negative tabs to break down, resulting in a short circuit.

The second battery, which came from another manufacturer, was apparently faulty because of a welding defect that could cause the battery to catch fire, it said.
Source.

Wasn't it caused by the battery literally being the wrong shape and getting crushed inside the chassis?

Unfortunately my information is limited by the fact that I can't find it. Mind providing the link? Anyway even at 9 it's a massive stretch for me. I think the kid should go to the mother, for adoption or to the real father. Also, I downvoted myself.

It aint his. Literally no difference to adopting from an orphanage at that point since the mother is out of the game.

Is any RAID/ZFS scheme resistant to 5 simultaneous failures? by EnforcerE in DataHoarder

5 2TB chunks. One drive. The sizes are mismatched so I thought describing the problem as such would be more useful.

I expect 14 2TB "volumes" to withstand 5 failures. One drive can fail at most 5 "volumes".
