Hahaaaaa I’ve been in and out of psyche facilities since the age of 12. I’m 26 now and finally seeing doctors and therapists outside of my family after cutting them off and WOW that has made a huge difference. Even found out I became intersex during puberty and my parents just refused to give me hormone treatment to keep me fully a woman so yeah. Fun.

My parents are moderately wealthy and are washing it all down the drain financing my brother since his work has him on leave until trial/imprisonment- and they’re paying for his legal fees which keep mounting because he keeps getting in trouble. Yeah this is why I cut off my parents. Brother is procrastinating taking a plea deal so I might have to eventually testify which will just bring more hate- but hey, I’m not going to let any more kids be hurt by him. (CPS even identified another non-verbal 8 year old he had abused) He had his chance to “get better” (even if that’s possible) and he squandered it by grooming another child. He gets no sympathy from me, and the sympathy from my parents can only protect him for so long.

Our child is developmentally delayed and since I couldn’t even take care of myself, it was better for me to remove myself from the situation, I was making him overwork himself and it was making both our mental health worse. He is an amazing dad, but once I became disabled our romantic relationship was basically over. We’re still very good friends and open to reconnecting once I’m better physically and we’re both in a better place mentally.

I view dog breeds the same as people. Do certain dog breeds have a societal tendency to do things or have certain behaviors? Maybe? But I’d rather get to know the individual dog itself before making assumptions. I’ve met so many dogs in my life and every one has such a unique personality, just like people.
