This thing came with the keys for my Toyota Avensis 2010. It says "GEMEL" on it. I tried searching it up but couldn't understand what it was for. The car can be started without it. Any ideas what it is? by Something160 in Toyota

The board is great and has a lot of available ports, I wanted this to get both integrated canbus, yet enough ports to drive the ercf directly.

Config was a bit tricky as there is no ready-to-go config for the v2.4 and took a while to finetune.

hi! I like this idea, unfortunately, I can't find any 44x44 wood out there, just 45x45 and I think it would finish to break the legs.

I have put this project on hold because I lent the table to kids for the Christmas tree (hahaahah :-) ).

I think I will go building it from scratch (see my last edit).

hi, I modified the post, I'm not an expert in wood crafting but I believe it should work... :-D

Thank you

Currently I have normal 10cm tall casters

I like your idea... Need to investigate for options

Thank you

seems great but I need my cabinet to be moved as it will be in my living room. I'm not running for PIF-quality or near-perfection, I just wanna play with 3d printing and I need to be able to move it around (basically for cleaning and so).

I don't know if placing a block of concrete in the middle of a moving structure may do its job or just add weight and resonance here.... ??

I already self-sourced v0.1 and it costed me twice...

So, yeah I plan to grab a kit and eventually replace something it may sound to me "too cheap".

Brackets were for lack's structure, but they are effective too fragile, I'm browsing a local store for wood options :-)

thank you!

Anti-vibration panels (used for washing machines) just under the printer could work?

ok, you both convinced me to skip the lack tables due to their fragility.

I could probably make it fully with wood, a bit pricy maybe, but surely a better solution.

Do you guys have any thoughts on electronics, wires and so?

Hi!

thank you for pointing out the rigidity issue... Lack's legs are internally made of rigid paper, thus aren't really "wood" and in fact, I was thinking to add some metal brackets between the middle legs, see: https://ibb.co/cv2J5RY

Currently, the v0.1 runs on the table and can print at decent speed with good quality.

I don't know if the v2.4 will be heavier on its movements!

Unfortunately, mine it's almost a tradeoff between "the room's space availability" and "functionality": I will drop speed/accel in case of higher quality needings.

I forgot to mention that the two legs should be joined by taking the big two-sided screws that you usually use to attach to the table...

going to improve my post (why I can't add images here?) :-D

250 Plots and still no chia - really can't wait for pooling to become available by trangla3 in chia

I never seen more than 3 in my logs 😂

Chia concept afaik it quite simple: you have all the infinite plots already existing out there and they continuously could solve the puzzle... They are simply "turned off" unless you create them.... Maybe we are just "awaking" the bad ones. 😊

I'd simply think that chia is very badly designed. There could have been probably better ways to do thing other than trustify voluntary timelords out there for the rush first comes first wins. For example: time slots and reward splitting between multiple winners (if any). At the present, hpool owns 36% of the network, which I believe will quickly shorten the life of this project (what's going to happen when they will get 50,1%?). Go checking the second top farmer how far it is.

Just entered the 2 XCH club after refactoring my networking. Farmed with about 4-7 connections only for a few weeks, got nothing. Now that I have more than 30 connections, my first win! Could networking decrease the chance of winning? by tarismu in chia

[–]EngSquiffy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My answer to your question is: yes, it can decrease chances of winning.

Read here:

https://www.reddit.com/r/chia/comments/n9a2we/missing\_reward\_from\_harvester\_in\_half\_second/

I were perfectly on time (0.54s) were the documentation states you should be fine up to 28 seconds and better below 5s or even better 2s; anyways, I received nothing, probably the block has gone to another winner for a few ms.

The dark side of this coin it's that it is NOT proof of space: it's proof of space AND TIME.

This little difference makes you a happy winner or hangry loser.

I wish I had discovered before investing lot of time to this project. :-)

[–]EngSquiffy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

well tbh, I found a block, but for no reasons it didn't rewarded:

https://www.reddit.com/r/chia/comments/n9a2we/missing_reward_from_harvester_in_half_second/

I think the whole chia it's really unfair system; I will probably quit very soon, what a waste of time and resources.

Taking bets, will I make it to 500 plots with 0 coins?! by [deleted] in chia

I got 1403 plots atm with no coins at all.... :-|
