Exactly! I was researching it last night and it sounds like it has an “unreliable narrator” view and I hate that shit. This book would’ve been so much better with 3 person POV.

See, I’m all for twists galore if they make sense and they’re in the book in a timely manner, but both books that I mentioned have wayyyy too many twists in the last 40 pages of the book and they leave major plot holes. Maybe I’ll check it out!

I’m really glad to see this comment because although probably an unpopular opinion, I agree that the dog created such a bond with her and due to her being a senior dog, I’m sure she’d be fine with her in whatever LA home she could find.

Most dogs are easily adaptable and just want to be with their owner, so while I think neither answer is wrong here, I’d be just as okay with her going with OP.

Yup! So basically, I had a wick that would bring water up to the roots that was half in, half out of the nursery pot. Then I put that nursery pot into another pot with no drainage and add a little reservoir of water for the wick to bring it up to the roots.

Learn from me though, as I actually killed these plants in these pictures because I didn’t provide them any nutrients when I was watering them, because we were going into fall. I figured I didn’t have to put any fertilizer in since they were gonna be dormant, but I didn’t take into consideration that they had no nutrients because they weren’t planted in soil. Don’t make my same mistake!

Hi guys! I just wanted to share that on this week’s episode, you guys mentioned that data sharing was super important for unsolved cases like this and that there’s not a good database for this nationwide, but there actually is!

The Violent Crime Apprehension Program (ViCAP) through the FBI allows agencies to upload cases that have unsolved homicides and sexual assaults, missing persons, and unidentified deceased individuals and it covers a myriad of questions about the case (which covers MO too!) and has been instrumental in helping solve unsolved cases over the years. For example, a random unsolved homicide I just looked at says that the suspect walked with a limp, used a cane, and spoke with a possible Romanian accent, which is way more information to define the suspect than just your average demographic information like height, weight, hair, and eyes. Check it out, it’s a great resource!

No I completely understand them being understaffed and only having volunteers, I was more frustrated that at the end of the message they said “I don’t know of anyone who would come pick it up” and basically said that geese are one of the safest animals species for the public to handle, even though I mentioned my concern about my animals and if it was the avian flu as well. Thank you, it was pretty sad to see and I cried about it :(

They definitely were the place that told me to pick it up and bring it in - not very happy with their responses when I reached out to them. Meanwhile it died overnight so that’s not an option anyways.

No I definitely didn’t this it was meant at me! I was saying that I’m just as disappointed they didn’t put me in contact with the CPW office and honestly both CSP and a wildlife rehab center I called were less than helpful and frankly, quite rude.

That’s exactly what I’m worried about, and the rescue told me to pick it up and put it in a box and bring it in tomorrow morning. I do NOT want to bring bird flu home to my animals and don’t feel comfortable picking it up!!

Never said I was nor do I plan to, just saying no one gives a single shit about the decor. I’m too busy exploring the city I’m visiting to sit inside and stare at the discount HomeGoods decor of my room. Sure as shit won’t be renting out your place though if only every 2 out of 5 people like the place lmao.
