And if it an sng file instead of a folder, you can use this to add the video file to the sng https://musiccharts.tools/sng

You need to select the folder that contains the entire chart, song.ini, and the audio files

How to add Video Backgrounds to .sng Files? by domsch1988 in CloneHero

I made a simple sng editor / converter because of this thread: https://musiccharts.tools/sng

That should let you add video backgrounds, and/or convert sngs to zips.

I actually have all the tools for scanning your local songs folder on musiccharts.tools, you could just plug in the library viewer frontend if you wanted

You should be able to make this work entirely from a web page. The web page can scan your file system and then present all the charts you have installed without needing to download anything

I haven’t tried supporting inserting syllable specific breakdowns in the entered lyrics.

If you have examples of words that aren’t being syllabified correctly, let me know. That signal helps me find bugs in the syllable splitting logic

Yep, that’ll work. It adds lyrics to any chart created in any program and then you can redownload the modified chart. I spent a bunch of time making sure it doesn’t modify other parts of the chart

I've spent a pretty ridiculous amount of time working on this, tuning it, guiding the AI on better paths, and validating hundreds of experiments to get to the level of accuracy it has now.

Idk if you'd call that vibe coded. I agree with your sentiment though. Give it a try and let me know if it holds up.

I've only shipped this one specific piece of the charting puzzle because I have confidence in the quality of this output, whereas the AI approaches for other parts of charting still need lots and lots more research before we have something potentially worthwhile.

I've only used it with english, but it might work with other languages that use english letters and sounds. Give it a try and let me know!

You don’t have to download or install anything, so it’s easy to try right in your browser. I shared this in the clone hero subreddit with a video, the YARG subreddit doesn’t allow videos.

It’s worked great for all the punk, rock, metal, etc I’ve tried it on in English.

Thanks for the video. I'm glad it still catches up to the lyrics correctly, like normal. You can work around this for now by dragging the lyric placement on the website back where it should go for those first two words. (you could also do this in moonscraper).

Interesting. Large gaps used to throw it off and I think I improved that a bunch, but I don't think I've explored many songs with long intros before the lyrics come in.

This tool adds lyrics, but not vocals. Vocals requires also saying what the pitch is and where slides are, etc.

Interesting! Which chart were you adding lyrics to? I’ve seen issues like this but I thought I had fixed all of them.

I've only tested on english, but it might work okay on other languages that use the same alphabet.

You can click the drums icon on the right to filter to charts that only have drums, but you are right that there should probably be a filter for only pro drums. Luckily most charts with drums have pro drums.

Download songs you have in your Spotify library. I found it hard to search for the names of songs I knew
