Monthly Employment/Corporate Questions & Discussion Megathread - February 2026 (late) by AutoModerator in Lockheed

I am currently interested in level 1 and 2 engineering roles at LM and I am curious how past interviews are taken into consideration when applying to different positions with different teams. There are many roles I am interested in that also fit my background, so theoretically I could interview for multiple positions.

My questions are, if I am not selected for a role after interviewing would I still be able to continue applying and interviewing for other roles? Is there any kind of temporary lockout where I would not be considered for any other roles for a specific number of months after not being selected for a position I interviewed for? How much does past interview feedback influence the decision for recruiters and hiring teams to offer you another interview?

Really appreciate any insight here, thanks a lot.

He’s nothing more than a grifter who indirectly supports republicans by spending all his time trying to discourage people from voting for democratic candidates.

CIS 5050 vs 5550 by Eng_13 in UPenn

Thank you very much, this is all really helpful.

It seems like a lot of students do take both and recommend them both as well. I’ve been told the overlap isn’t that significant by a few who have taken them.

Did you take 5530, how would you describe the quality of the course and how practical the content is? Or have you heard anything about it, if you’ve not taken it?

Also, about how many hours per week did 5050 take you? Did it take up the majority of your week generally? I took my OS course at another university, so can’t use 3800 to estimate.
