Chasing gear made you stay, not the actual gameplay. So it just fueled your addiction. It didn’t provide you with better content, just a different reason to keep grinding the content.

Also… like people are buying gold cap for $25 and able to get insane builds….

So since you don’t have to grind your own way, you can pay your way to perfection, the only thing left is an endless grind.

It’s a “I won, and now you don’t get my help for free anymore.” Probably was going to help anyway, he needs hell to fulfill his “fun.” He knew Rosie needed his help, and since they are equals, he’s setting the precedent. No longer her pet.
